Hi All,
First, let me briefly state this topic is potentially related to Nissans, so please don't delete,,, lol. :]
I'm thinking of getting either a 350z or maybe a 370z within the next few years, hopefully within the next year if possible.
I have snowy winters, so would need a 2nd car,, and also a long commute,,,,,,,,, so basically the Z would be for the weekends, and a commuter for the daily driving.
Thinking camry hybrid is the best bet,, comfortable car, decent looks, and great mileage. I noticed the hybrid and XLE version of the camry has an 'ionizer/de-ionizer' air conditioner though,, supposedly it is all hi-tech and wonderful, but I've read many articles on the net saying it is unsafe. Somewhere between when the air particles are ionized and de-ionized, there is some minor radiation going on. Very minor amount, but still, it is the air conditioning after all which the driver is breathing directly in.
As far as I can tell Nissan has stuck to the 'normal' air-conditioning in their altima hybrid, but other than that advantage, the camry hybrid seems like a better car.
Any thoughts on the ionizing thing? Is it really not cool or am I just being paranoid?
thx!
