i personally wouldnt do more than a 225, and i wouldnt recommend more than a 235 ever

id be more inclined to do a 205 or 215 though

You can put a 255 on a 7.5, but I wouldn't, and it would need to have at least a 45 series side wall.

I'd suggest at least an 8" wheel for a 255, but more like a 9"

if not just do yourself a favor and get something way wider, at least a 9 all around, and youll probably want more than that even eventually

I have 8" wide wheels, and I wouldn't even think about going any wider than the 225s I have.

i run 245's on an 8.5in wheel on the rear of my car....it looks good

235 is the measuring rim width for a 7.5" wheel - you're fine to put that on.
