its the only way to do a true build is bottoms up, like everything good in life

budget builds are the **** tho, its the little stuff and the attention to detail that makes a badass car, imo. i hope you are going chuki tho

Well, I do plan on putting a body kit on it down the road, but I don't like the piggy look. nor do I want something aggressive, something simple and clean. But thats after the engine is finished. Which won't be done for like 2 months.

Thank you, and my parents said they won't ever help me out for this car. So yeah, every dime into this car is mine, and working a part time job and going to school, things tend to go kinda slow, but I put at least 70% of each check to this car(which is normally around 250) so I'm not slacking. :P

And Thank you!

Yeah, I changed my mind and bought a full engine gasket set. I'm told felpro is good upto around 500hp so I think i'll be good!

Tuesday I'll be reasembling the ka24det to the long block, then moving it to my new place, where i'll have a place with less dirt to work with! :D

Don't matter, it won't be there very long either. I plan on having the engine in the car by the end of march! I wanna start drifting/racing by spring.

My paint job is shotty after I took everything off. hha

I might repaint parts of it.

I didn't paint the starter area on purpose. lol

But it doesn't look too bad. This engine is in good shape. The cylinder walls don't have a lip or anything so that's good.

Thursday I'm putting it back together!

Well I moved last week, and just got the internet turned back on! woo.

I haven't done much. I got a boost and a oil pressure gauge.

And 550cc injectors! :D Side feed. So I'm excited. But all I need next is a clutch and I'm putting the engine in.

Well I started some finishing body stuff, still have a few holes and that hole in the frame needs fixed.

I pulled the rug out completely and I got a few holes to fix using some Fuzor Cold Weld, I got the FAST driving version and Nissan uses it to build their cars with. So I'm going to use it to patch these holes up.

I have a few questions..

I plan on running my car at the track mostly, some MAYBE on the road driving. My dad wants me to put it on the road and inspect it but I don't want too.

But Anyway, Do I NEED to pull all my interior out for the track?, is there a way to put a legal cage in without taking the interior out? I would like to keep my run and stuff in, its in really good condition.

Thanks.

I know i got updates out the ***. ha

Saterday I'm pulling out the ka24e, the de isn't ready yet, but by the time my 240sx is ready for it..it'll be done. :D

I Need before I put my ka in is...my nismo motor mounts, and a clutch. Which I still haven't figured out which one to get. ughh.

But I think I've decided to take out my rear interior..its in great shape but I don't want it..I might keep it, take it apart right, and either sell it or either keep it and if i want it back to just put it back in. :D

tomorrow i'm finishing the holes with fuzor cold weld. And Then some finish cleaning, taking some of the sound deading out, and then yeah..I'm excited. Maybe take out the tail lights...sense they leak anyway! omg. Idk where though, I think on the right tail light. hmm..

I'll update with more pictures later tomorrow night. So be ready! I'll take many.

Alright, home from a long day at work...on my car! :D

I don't know why, but everytime I work on this car...or even look at it I get all happy inside..like i'm five? haha

Heres some pictures.

I fixed all the floor holes with LORD Fuzor Metal adhesive.

Its pretty amazing stuff.

I also finally installed my Boost and Oil pressure gauge.

Can someone tell me how to install my Megan racing boost gauge? I don't know where the hose part of it goes? I'm such a nub :[

Sorry its blurry, but we put it up on the rack when i was done and undercoated the patches under neath...plus ran some de ruster all around the under carriage of the car.

okay..Main rust was where it normally rusts at...exhaust side frame...

Before.

After.

:D

Not the best but nobodys gonna see it! And its legal if I decide to get it inspected..

My interior is so clean..but I didn't get to finish sweeping cuz I was running out of time.always next week i guess..

I did sweep the hatch though. :D

Still a clean car. :D

Soo...Lots of updates.

Saterday engine is gone.

Bye.

Well...I don't want the piggy or chuki.

So till I get a body kit i'm going to run no bumper cover at the track. all you'll see is my big ol intercooler. which is jdm tyte right? haha

And thanks. :]

I traded my 89 piggy for this 91 SE. Its from Alabama and has NO rust.

Only problem is that it runs on 3 cylinders and has a broken passenger window..

But Now I don't need to find all the swap parts.

The deal will be finalized on Thursday, so pray for me guys. haha

I really hope so, that'll save me so much money omg

I think so too. I can't believe he wanted to I expected a no because of the sohc. But Nope, So I have a lot less money I have to spend, but I don't like the white..so I might get it painted black..

But it has 136k on the chassis :D

Can't wait till thursday I'll update this page with a bunch of pictures of it. :D

Awesome find. If you still have the intake off of the ka24e I will take it off your hands.
