before you go spend that kind of cash, check out the other light kits. the site i sent you to has some pretty bad reviews on several of them regarding the quality of the light output, especially the RE Amemiya. I just read the whole thing. it seems the best thing they have going for them is the look but not quality end results for the driver.

wonderful, well maybe ill just limit myself to day time driving and not even wire up the lights. thats a good solution right? I was also thinking of stripping some junkyard projectors from a J30 or other infinity and maybe wire those up in some sort of ghetto fashion, ya know, so it matches my car....

if u cant score those u can copy my setup, that i copied from someone else... forget who though.

they are just piaa triple beam lights. they work awesome and are really bright. dont have any night pics but heres my car

i actually like them better than the east bear kit. ive seen the east bear headlights in real life too.

thanks Anvil. i appreciate the help. very nice car btw

And does anyone know if Hellas, C-West or the RE Amemiya make their headlight kits for a 240sx? I like all of them but all it seems i can find is for Rx-7s.

ANVIL those lights look pretty good, so know on with my questions before i copy the setup.... can you still retract your lights? how bad is the vibration and is it noticeable while driving? how hard were they to setup that way? wiring, any custom brackets?

also, do you know what type of PIAA lights those are or maybe have a link where i can find a part number?

they are called piaa tri beams. i got them off ebay a few years ago for about $200. i think most online stores sell them for 300 or more if i remember. i just used the mounting kit that came with it, and wired the power to my headlight switch. theres a city/parking light in it too, which i wired to the same circuit as my side markers. its actually real easy. i disconnected the headlight motors so they are like that all the time and never retract. vibration is not bad while driving, but i do notice it sometimes.

Ain't nothin' wrong with J30 projectors:

6000k HIDs in some J30 projectors that I retro'd into some sealed beam eBay wonders. Yes, they still pop up and down no problem. Vibration is a minor issue though, I need to re-tighten the bump-stops so they sit solid again.

[QUOTE=S133P3R]i think this car had 3 hella projector pods built into it. i found these lights only one time for sale on craigslist and the seller wouldnt respond with the manufacturer or any info.QUOTE]

I'm pretty sure those are Supermades. (Whoops, maybe not- http://www.raceonusa.com/index...=1325 ?)General consensus is that the fit on Supermades is none too good, but they sure look purdy.I've been looking around at possible headlight donors for my s13- I'm tired of pop-ups that don't quite line up.

The thing is I'm gonna fix up my car.. I'm not want to fix up you guy's. And by the sound of things you guys wouldn't want me to either, so opinions are like buttwholes.. Everyone has them and some stink worse than others.. I personally hate the pignose look, but others love it.. I actually think the 300z lights give 240's a clean look.. But thanks anyway.. I only got one link when I searched for it thats why I asked.. Anyone know the best place to get them from. Do I need buckets.. etc... Just the general questions for custom work. Thanks
