I have a greddy intake manifold and intercooler, a koyo radiator, a Tanabe exhaust, megen test pipe, and a mckinney down pipe, and LSD. and i'm at stock boost.
so your sayin u dynoed 250whp on stock boost i highly doubt it, what did u turn it up to?

Last time I check the turbo SR weighed less than a KA.

The GTO is a good match for a SR'd 240 until someone has to take a turn.
You might be right. But they were discussing this over on FreshAlloy and when SCC did an article comparing the KA and SR engine weights, these were their results...

SR20DET w/transmission = 490lbsKA24E w/transmission = 493lbs (KA24DE is probably a touch heavier)

Now this was only the engines and transmissions being weighed. I think once you start adding in all the accessories, piping, turbo, etc...the SR just might end up being heavier in the end, especially if you have an aftermarket intercooler and larger radiator.

I did say in a earlyer post that i have a rb25det. Did you think i had a sr20det?? I'm at stock boost right now, my gadge says around 6-7....I was hoping if i went to the track i would do the 1/4 around low 12's since you are around the same whp, but i know my rb wieghs 180 lbs more then your sr. did you do any wieght reduction to your car?...I plan on a cf hatch and a cf hood and FAL is working on some windows that should be read by the end of the year, so i'm going to get those too, and I'm getting rid of my back seats and getting lighter racing seats(Bride). so i"m hoping to do some real damage on wieght reduction!!!
