240sx Tein S-techs Need Help

Im thinking about buying some Tein S-techs for my 91 240sx. But i dont know if i need to replace the Shocks. Some people told me that all i need is just get the Springs and run them with the Stock Shocks. They said the reason was cause i wasnt running Coilovers. So My Question is do i need to replace the Shocks if i get the Tein S-Techs for my 91 240sx.

After market springs will blow old *** stock shocks , always.

stock shocks aren't meant to handle lowering springs. in any case, they'll blow under load. get some kyb agx's, as those seem like everyones favorite...

Good thing I got mine years ago before the fakers hit ebay.

KYB AGXes, or even a good set of Konis are the way to go with tein S-techs. I have a set of AGXes on my S-Techs, and it handles nicely while giving a good ride.

oem replacements like monroe will blow too.... you cant get oem replacent shocks..

Im planning on just driving it as a daily driven car. I just want my car lower for now and not make the ride unconfortable. and Adrains_s13 im reading this thread on a Sidekick so i dont see stuff as fast. but thanks for the help
