IMO. They fail completely. I used to have them. They will die real quick if your car is lowered. It's made as OEM replacement with stock ride height. If you want to go with shocks and springs. Kyb AGX and tein S-tech is the way to go (Of course roll with koni yellow if you are balla)

hmm... my car has megan racing springs. Some dude that use to have it had megan racing coilovers in them but unfortunately the car was stolen and brought back without the megain racing shocks. Will they still perform bad? and i think my car is about 1.5 inches lower.

I had them for 3 months and they blew. I used the springs that came with the Tokico spring shock combo from options auto salon. I know 3 people who have owned these and they said they are crap. If your gonna get Tokico get the Illuminas

I know 1.5 is a mid-drop it sounds like nothing but I've heard that people blew a set a brand new tokicos in less than 3 weeks. Here's the good thing about KYB AGXs and Koni they have life time warranty. For Agxs is not lower than 1.5" Not sure about the Koni. So which means as long as your car isnt lowered more than 1.5" you will get new shocks if you blow them. I have Agxs and Tein combo and I love them. 4 ways adjustable in the front and 8 ways in the back. The place I live has huge amount of speedbumps so that's why I didnt lower my car that much. Or otherwise I would go with megan street. You can find them for 800 or less. And real good feedback

If your gonna go with a spring/shock combo , research and get a quality shock , and make sure the spring you use isnt to aggressive of a spring rate because it will blow the shock , regarless of how much the spring lowers the car.

WOW i'm such an idiot i should have done a research before ordering them. I guess i will cancell my order and get something else then. My price range is around $400 so i really dont know what to get. The other guy said i should get KYB AGX shocks and i have read and found good reviews about them too. what do you think?

Yes spring rate does have a close relationship with blowing a shock. But how low your car is also affect how much the shocks compress and it affects the life of the shocks
