240sx SE Nismo Edition (S13)?

Could someone please shed some light on this please? I have a friend who says that he once had a 240sx SE Nismo Edition (S13). He said that it was a limited run from the factory, all engine no turbo, and had over 200whp. Can anyone verify or discredit this claim? I've searched here as well as the net and I can't find information on it for the life of me. I would be curious to see what modifications that Nismo made for this "special edition". I'm thinking that someone put a few Nismo parts on a S13, slapped some Nismo stickers on it, a body kit and sold it as a "Nismo".

He couldn't prove the 200whp, no dyno sheets or anything like that but I've talked to plenty of people that claimed to have ridden in it or driven in it and they all say that it was tough to keep the rear end in line under acceleration. He also claims that this 240 smoked his RX-7 all day long. All say that there was no turbo.

Personally I think he's full of it, but I would really like someone to verify his story. I would be nice to think that something like that was made, but would irritate the hell out of me to know that they made the rest of them such dogs in the hp department.

Ive personally never heard of one , I ve had mine for almost 4 years now and have done lots of research on it, and have never come accross it. There are some parts made from nismo for it, but as far as it making 200rwhp i doubted, if it were real ppl would be out buying it, and youd hear about it.

There is a Nismo S13. I think its called the Nismo Tune or Nismo Tuned..I cant remember. But I saw it on these boards a while ago. However I HIGHLY doubt one ever made it to the US. Im pretty sure it only made it to the test track. Not only that, im pretty sure the was a SR in there as well Ill see if I can find some stuff on it.

Im giving up for now. To late, couldnt find it.

eh... even if they did make a "nismo" edition 240sx... it would probably be wackness. I've seen pretty much all the Nismo stuff they have for the s13, and imo the only thing worth getting is a nismo power brace and their valour steering wheel (iirc, it was made by Nardi/ Personal). their aero (for 180sx) is ugly, and for the price of the nismo suspension (arms and "coilovers"), you can get something 10x better from any other aftermarket company.

well, they really weren't offered for the s13, or weren't out back in the early 90's... lol... but yeah, I like all of nismo's interior bling...

including their old school gauges...

they also offered a gauge cluster that looks identical to a regular cluster, but it says nismo on it, lol... I'd rock it

yeah teh sil80s had cams and a few other thinks i think. it was nismo cams but it was done by kids heart

i ssem to remember there being an autech version s13 that had some minor mods as far as exterior and interior, with slight engine upgrades, but it was sr-powered, not ka. but i've never heard of a nismo version. although this one time, i saw a video of a gtr mustang with a rotory v8.

NISMO has had literally tons of stuff available for the SOHC, but 200 whp would be silly to expect from a smaller motor in that sort of configuration. You can use your own brain for that decision.

Maybe 200 at the crank with full everything, but even then, you wouldn't be smoking RX-7's unless the driver sucks.

But anyways, the only *real* 240/silvia I ever heard of from Nismo was the 270R. But that was an s14... and SR20 based.
