uh...... I dont think so dude. You're going to have to change A LOT. Like, everything. It'll cost way more than its worth IMO.

I hope you at least know how to weld because you're going to need to do a lot of fabrication.

Wow. Just look into all the work needed to swap in the AWD drive train of a Skyline into a 240sx. It has been done and it's A LOT of custom work.

You need basically the whole evoX to frame up and then hack up, then hack up your 240sx. You will need more than the engine and trans. You need axles, all suspension components, body strut towers, etc.

If you do continue down this path, make a detailed write up on what you do, for you will be the first. It'd be cheaper and easier to get an old lancer or other platform that is similar and put your drivetrain into it.

GL!

This thread should give you some idea of what you'd be getting into:

full-race-s-new-r14-build-thread-t53020 ... hilit=Full Race R14

Lots more info on GT-R drivetrain swaps can be found by searching for those guys.

I'm with is fella, it would be a good way to show off your fab skillz if you have them, but that's a waste of a 240. I guess one could say that's just my opinion.

True, there is a lot of snark here (that you really should expect).
Seriously, this is a dumb idea. The whole point of a 240 is that its a somewhat lightweight, RWD, fun little car that handles well. Why would you want to take that and try to stuff in a bunch of Mitsubishi bits? If all you want is a fastback with AWD, I'd recommend finding an old Eclipse and stuffing new EvoX bits in that. That would be a helluva a lot cheaper and easier. Seriously. You're reading this from the only person to spend the time and money to make a KA engine hit 200whp on pump gas (more money than many have spent on their entire 240)- this is a foolish endeavor.
If you're looking for input on how to do this project, then you aren't going to accomplish it. Have you ever disassembled a car and put it back together? Have you looked at the designs of each of these vehicles and drivetrains and suspensions to see how different they are? Have you even checked to see if the engine would fit?
No one has done this, so unless you have a specific question, you won't get any real information on this project. So if you still want to do this, free your calendar for the next year, break out the welding torch, and prepare for a lot of fabrication.

Pics or it didn't happens. Evo 10 stock is 30k now please tell me why anyone would do that. If someone has the cash to buy a 30k car to pull apart they wouldn't have to ask a question on how to do it. Pics or it didn't happen. Post a pic of your parts evo with a paper with your user name on it or this is a joke

Not necessarily true, a dealer told me a young guy came in, his dad bought him a brand new Evo 9or10 mr, cash money. 5 mins after they left he got a call. The kid was stuck in the turning lane in front of the dealership, didn't know how to drive stick. :slap: that's like saying a guy who can afford a Lamborghini knows how to drive. I assure you probably 70% don't, they jus want that big d!ck :rotflmao

I meant hed be able to pay someone to help him. And affording a car to drive and affording a car to take apart I think are on two different levels. Especially a 30k car.
