I only have on thing to say and that is please please lose the wing it really is an eyesore. You don't want your car to show up on laughatrice.com do you? The wing is all the rage there. Sell some of the brick-a-brack in the car and buy a nice wing (if you need one). I might suggest a cool R32 carbon fiber one. Thats what I'd do, but who really cares about.

WOW, JUST WOW. I'm not here to bash or make fun since everyone has different tastes and likes different things. But that car is just pure <curseword> UGLY. I just saw the pictures and wasn't expecting it to look that sh1t. Gross wheels (colour), gross wing, wtf that hood looks like it came off of a WS6. To each his own.

holy LORD, I just caught the end of "pimp my ride" with that poor, poor S13. 100% riced out. UNBELIEVABLY ugly. It has a neon green paint job with a bright red wing, bright red wheels, and yellow graphics all over it, two huge hood scoops, underbody neons everywhere, puke green interior, and a thumping "system." It wasn't even 5 speed. They destroyed that S13. F*ck MTV for teaching millions of viewer that rice = pimp.

If my car were chosen for that you couldn't pay me enough to bring it in there (well, it's already "pimped" anyway). The owner should have the option to leave the exterior untouched and use all the money they spend on electronics, lighting, etc, to do engine work....but that would involve reputable mechanics.

In conclusion, eww. I feel bad for the owner, although he might be able to sell it for quite a bit of money and buy an uscathed s13 and use the rest for performance modifications...

EDIT--just realized this show was a re-run and this topic has been beaten to death. My bad. Anyway, broke should definitely sell that **** on ebay and hook up a new S13 he buys....but I'm glad to see that he had performance modifications before he brought it on.

I just can't seem to understand why people can't respond without being biased so much of the time. It comes naturally to me maybe because I think only in a logical fashion. LOL sometimes some of my friends make jokes on how I'm like a computer. Dude people, do you not understand the concept of free? EVEN IF he doesn't like the car, he can sell it for an outrageous price, especially if he packages it with the X pictures and maybe a recording of the show. Yea I agree with some of the stuff you said, but here in LA, he could probably get an outrageous amount of money because X did sit in it. I guess its just a west coast thing. If I were in his position, I would definately sell the car, maybe try and get in some magazines first though . Take that money and start on a new project car. He might be able to get over 20k for that car if he markets it right. Have to remember there are the anti-NICO people out there aka pure blood ricers who have rich mommies and daddies just waiting to buy something like that.

one thing i will say, i didnt even know autometer made an analog clock

I didn't know either until a couple weeks ago. Guy brings in his Protoge5, all "tricked", has the dual gauge pod that goes around the cluster. A/F and a clock! geez.....then since were putting in alarm I diconnected the AF by accident (loose t-tap got bumped while I was working on it) Anyway I hook it back up. he's like "cool, not that I know what it does but I like the lights" saw the show though....only thing that kept going through my head was, I wonder if his trunk leaks the way my hatch does. All those tv's and amps would be toast in my 240.

Just to settle some things:

1) Yes, I do have more than 12 friends - that was a joke cuz we filmed that part a million times - as well as many other parts that made and did not make it on the show

2) yes I did spend a ton of my money w/ my time w/ many ppl's help for engine/suspension/interior before I got free stuff.

3) Read my post & reply on my "other" thread carefully and it should explain most of it.

4) I'm much less of a dork in real life - keep in mind I'm no actor and filming for a whole day at a time tires me out.

5) Since when was intake, header, cat, exhaust, underdrive pulley, suspension not "go" mods? Just cuz I don't have a 500hp car or a turbo in it?

FYI, I have read corky bell's book, did many months of turbo research, and in fact did my term paper in my final class to graduate college on turbochargers and their applications in 4 cylinder vehicles (A in the class thank you) - And I have collected most of my turbo parts (not just planning).

5) THANK YOU FOR ALL THE NICO SUPPORT and constructive criticism.

Some other good things that happened today:

1) So many members were actually supportive. It's fine that most ppl don't like my car, but just to see the simple compassion of some members to stand up for others is great.

2) I met a cool guy who im'ed me about my car and can hook me up w/ some of my turbo setup welding/fabricating. Lots of possibilities coming from that.

3) Some of my friends (2 in particular) from high school were able to finally get in contact w/ me again after 4 years apart (ppl change #'s too often) because of some ppl who posted my aim SN all over the internet (I didn't realize this nico thread would leak that huge). Just had dinner w/ a buddy I've been trying to get in contact w/ for the past couple years actually.

I agree I'm sure we all sound like arrogant ***holes but dude there's THREE Xboxs in it, and TVs set in a position that it wouldn't even make sense for people to be playing on them. I really like that gray dash they did though that looks really bad ***. If they did the whole interior with the black/gray theme as seen on the dash I'd be making an offer on your interior. Would make sense for that clock to be there so it'd be easier to replace it with a boost gauge but otherwise wtf? I'm really glad they let you keep the other hood because not only is the new one hideous, but also useless. Those tails need to go man, that's one of the best features of the S13 coupe rear. I don't trust that green color cover for the intake, that is just ridiculous dude. The rear seats made me laugh; they must have known nobody can possibly sit there so they threw in the Xboxs in there. Save yourself some weight and remove the belts :p Sorry if you were offended, it's just that we were raised to hate cars that were treated like that (why do you think we hate Honder ricers so much?) and that style really doesn't fit in around here. It is, however, your car, and our opinions means squat, so long as you're happy. Have fun, and don't forget to buy a gun (btw previous kit rocked!)
