it wasn't bad for free. To tell you the truth it would have beeh helluva nicer if they took the stuff he already had on there and done it right. Even the paint (which I personally wouldn't rock) would have been helluva nice without the stickers. And that red... (rims, mirrors, wing) should have been body color... and the wing... yeah I didn't like that at all.

Well, I can tell you all this - I have talked to Quoc-Viet via email several times. He's a hell of a nice kid, and I'm happy for him.
He had a BRM Exhaust on the car, BTW.
The car doesn't look bad, not quite our style, but if he's happy with it, then we need to be happy for him.
(I like the color, actually).

I just saw it and it's sad. First off, I hope the guy fuglied up the car on purpose so he would be picked cause otherwise he didn't deserve to get it pimped. What the hell is the purpose of trying to fix up your car if you are gonna do everything half assed. I am all about trying to do stuff yourself and understand being on a student's budget but come on. Why buy a body kit and have it hanging half off the car? At least zip tie the mofo on;) You can afford a carbon hood but can't be bothered to get the proper brackets for the "racing seat" you got? Any expectations of WCC creation were realized when I saw the finished product. Not so much as a CAI.
lol did they throw away the cf hood and trunk or was it just a black trunk and hood? i couldnt tell damn it's too hard to fix that car now pretty much remove the paint on the car and on the rims and throw away the "engine dress up" they put sell all the monitors and the green amp/subs and xboxes and hopefully thats enough for a paintjob

For all that, free is ok in my book. Sell audio and video, to pay for mods. Thats how I would do it. Looks good for free. I like the seats and paint, thats all. Least it was given to somebody who well deserves it. Thats car needed some help reguardless if it was the right or wrong way. They should have kept the carbon fiber hood.

I gotta say, I watched it, 3x just so I didn't miss anything(wasn't home for part of it but had the vcr recording). Not exactly my thing, but I think its a He11 of a nice car. I mean think about it guys, professional everything. Ok so thats a lot of xboxes, so what. Maybe most of us wouldnt have picked that color scheme but I am guessing that since they called it orange, it just looks more red on tv and thats not really all that bad. I guess most of the ppl who are complaining and whining how they don't like it have always been able to aford everything to do it their way but trust me man, you aren't the only one. I think it looks good, you should be proud of it no matter what anyone else says because its YOUR car not theirs and if you like it thats all that matters. After all isn't that what tuning/customizing is all about?

I think they did a pretty good job bring the car from the game to real life...only exception is that the car in the game was a hatch and not a coupe.
only thing i gotta complain is the spoiler color, everything else looks good ( i know it matches the side mirrors but it would honstly look better if id matched the car color)
But, if you like it, then its cool.

well one of the positive things i can say about the show is....
glad your happy for your car, it was apparent through your reaction...
and i found the show somehow entertaining from all the little comments xzibit said and what quoc said on the show..good stuff haha... the car wasn't my cup of tea though

But see there is a difference between a sponsorship and his situation. In a sponsorship, you can't take the stuff they give you and sell them to other people aka you have to keep your car riced out. In this situation, he can sell all those extra stuff and do whatever he wants with the money. Basically, he got free money is what it amounts to. And I don't think anyone in this forum is insane enough to turn down free money. At least I don't think there is .nsrZ32 wrote:

hey i have a question, do you know before hand that X is arriving, or does he show up at your door "surprise", what if your not home. The reactions of some people look to fake almost as if theyre acting way too hard. As I am assuming this show staged 99% right, correct?
