hey the cars were nice.....the acting wasn't the greatest, the plot was worse, but what can you do nothing, apparently you all watched the first, It was bad......so why did you watch the second? what compelled you to see it? stop bashing it and ask yourself those questions....deep down you enjoyed it.you probably sleep with it under your pillow at night, and jerk-off to the cover fast and furiously before you go to sleep.

hey, i own the first movie, i apreciate it for its entertainment value, i HATE the fact that people take it for real. Every riced out car i see, im sure at least 4 out of 5 of them were inspired by F&F. But what ever, people can do whatever they like, doesnt mean i have to like it.

The 240 driven by Michelle Rodriguez's character in the movie was in Super Street once.

LMAO there is a orange civic and spyder in my small town with loud fart cans HAHAHA :D The guy in the civic is cool i herd but man even my mom said that car was ugly hahahahha

SEE MY PROBLEM WITH THIS MOVIE IS:I PAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND THIS MOVIE IS SO COMPLETLY UNREALISTIC TO ME THAT I CAN'T ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS. I ACTUALLY SIT THERE AND CITICISE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE MOVIE IN MY HEAD. OHH WELL THATS JUST ME BUT WHATEVER.

Seriously. Grow up. It's a friggin movie. If you like it, good. If you don't, don't flame the people that do, they have their right to watch and enjoy whatever the **** they want.

damn, take your own advice and get over it yourself. just as you dont wanna hear me say its a bad movie, i dont wanna hear you defend it. do us a favor and break the cycle.

I did that too....just like the 4wd system is throwing a code on the dash because it was disabled to make the car RWD...LOL I was cracking up when I saw that. I just got them for the cars. I like rice to an extent. I see it as an expression of ones feelings. IF the same peopel who bash F&F, got bashed for how they dressed or how they talked...then it wouldnt be the saem. I DO have beef with people who THINK they are fast. You can put the loud *** mufflers and big wings, bu you still have a POS (insert car here) I dont care who flames me. Sometimes flash is nice. I mean take my 240. I would take a riced out flashy 240 over the POS B swapped one I had anyday of the week. That is why I sold my 240 and got out of the car scene. After swapping...the feeling didnt live up to the hype. I would rather spen my money on bling blinging an SUV with big as 15's in the back

actually in a skyline [not sure of the models, i think r33, r34] the awd stystem is electronic and pulling the fuse will disable the awd. but theres no upside to it since the parasitic loss of the front drivetrain and driveshaft is still there. people do it to dyno them.

You guys all complain about "ricers" now I am gonna complain about "haters". I mean I may be new and I am sure when my car is done some of the changes I make will be considered ricey but people, chill out. I don't know why you guys all target one single set of movies(F&F and 2F2F), it wasn't supposed to be real. It stuff like this that makes a lot of ppl leave this forum. I have been fortunate enough to find some of the nicer people on the board. Just give it a rest guys.

no need for that. the only reason i said the cars dont resemble their actual abilities is because he didnt know who the girl was racing, and i was just clarifying that it doesnt really matter what car it was cuz she woulda won no matter what. i wasnt targeting tf&tf anyways cuz i enjoyed both movies. i laughed at how horrible the acting and plot lines were but i enjoyed it cause i like looking at cars, especially ones that arent seen on the road on a regular basis. so basically i watched the movies for the cars and action sequences, not the overall movie

man, such tempers. see, MY problem with those movies is the way they come up with some bogus crap but try to play it off like its all real and hard-core racing techniques. most of that stuff isnt even possible.

i like a good show car, no problem with funky colors, hydros, big arse speakers and flashing lights. but KEEP it off the streets! its a SHOW car, so just show it off, dont try haulin a$$ down the street buzzing like a weed-wacker everytime another 'sporty' car pulls up becide you. but ricers, dont have eieth type of car. they have some monstrosity they concocted together with crap they bought from F&F catalogues. it has nothing to do with feelings, just dumbness .. just my 2 cents ;)

My comments weren't directed at individuals so much as the practice of making posts like the qoutes below and turning every thread that mentions anything about F&F into a "bash F&F fest". I'm not trying to turn it into a war, I am just sick of seeing other people do it. By the way, I don't appreciate being called "chump" though I had a dog named that once who was rather smart.
-HyJynX- wrote:If u liked the second one u should die..haha

Drift, there is a word filter for a reason atleast I just abbreviated it to something less the the actual word. I'll admit a lot of the acting was awful and the cars were very over the top but I saw plenty of "rice" long before the first movie came out. I think the movies get people interested and it is the task of fellow enthusiasts to set them on the right path and ideals.
drifter sx wrote:seriously ShadowKNight.. dont get all emotional. its just my opinion that the 'tards in those movies wouldnt know what to do with a car like that. so lay of the Femme pills and relax :D

Yes, but in stating your "opinion" you always manage to put people down. No need to call people "'tard's" for their opinion, did I or anyone else call you that for your opinion? I have to admit that the scene where the skyline is wrecked in the second one drives me crazy because when the collision with the parking meter occurs the car is going so slow there is hardly any damage but when the angle changes it is practically totalled. Oh and Turboka, I apollogize for any hostitlity, you weren't really the one that got on my nerves, you post just provided a good example to personify the reason others post such hostile remarks about the movie. J-Spec I agree , the movie is definately a catalyst for those who don't know anything about cars to go crazy on their ride and make it awful but I feel part of that goes to those awful pep boys and autozone commercials.

personally i liked gone in 60 seconds a lot. The plot and action scenes were kind off off tempo and a little out there at times, but overall a way more enjoyable movie than both F&F and 2gay2curious

Yes that was a 1967(i think that was the year) Shelby Mustang GT 500, awesome cars as far as domestic goes. Interesting to note is the fact the Carol Shelby(sp?), the man responsible for all of the shelby series cars has returned to ford.

If its the black one then that 240 belongs to Non Fujita. Its a pretty sick *** car, especially the interior. I believe his SR was tuned by tomei and is and has many HKS goodies. IDK check out the Import Tuner site and search for an article called Non Sense. If that dont just search the site. I found it when I lost the IM mag it was featured in. Its worth it.

just thought i'd post these for fun.

The Fatt and the Furious!!!-I live my life a quarter-pounder at a time. and for those 500 calories or more I'm free.-I need FRIESSSS! Two of them. The big ones, oh, and i need them tonight.-You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow a seam on your nugget box.-There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat.-Check it out it's like this, If i lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people that's more important.

haha : )
