I was lookin at a group of pics that were supposed to be from the fast and the furious 2. I found this

and you can see no lazy eye on the s13, I don't think they know enough about 240s to get the full look.

If you'd like to see an S-14 covered in stickers drive around slowly and do donuts , seek ye the Australian version of FaF called Redlined . OK , so the import tuners are drug dealers but the star ( its hard to tell if he's the good guy or bad guy - I could only stomach so much before I ejected it ) drives around in a white S-14 and one of his henchmen has an S-13 - that also does nice donuts . I dunno if you could make it through any more of it than I did - I stopped after they ran the WRX through the store to steal cell phones

Onto the subject at hand, me thinks we can kiss the "exclusiveness" of the 240sx goodbuy. There are lots of threads here that cry wolf about the coming of the FF2 takeover and "ricing" of teh 240. I used to think they were takign it a bit far and that the nissan would witstand the attack, but after seeing those pics, I fear for our survival.

I say we buy up every 240 we can find and only sell them to those who deserve the car. A full car nut background check would also be done on the person who seeks the ride.

Haha, good call Maximus.I think that 240 is nice. It's got a great color scheme to it. I guess the guys in charge of adding neon Norse God graphics must have let one slip....I personally can't wait to see this movie. I couldn't wait to see the first one either, and I loved it.

Why is everyone getting so uptight about bodykits?

Welldone edgy body, cost good money, look good IMHO and are functional.

Its not the same as slapping on some stickers and nailing a huge wing on the trunklid.

And I'm kinda with Ninga, If you take the movie for what it is worth you can get intertainment out of it. I hate watching movies with people who want to pick apart everything and make it not cool. Sure there is going to be plenty of flaws but it will still be fun to watch...:rolleyes

And out of curiosity, do they make all the cars for the movie or do they let people w/ riced cars be in somehow?

What body was that on the 240?

That car (along with almost all the other cars in FF2) is from down here in Miami.. I see him all over the place. Its a KA with a intake. Bomex body kit, carbon fiber hood and 180sx type X taillights. That wing is not his.. is being used for the movie.. he has a small fiberglass wing on there normally. and yes.. those are 18" rims

hell, I actually kind of like it. I love the do-luck body kit, I'm just getting tired of all this F&F stuff. I just hope the new one's better than its predecessor.

That 240 looks like the one from my area. He has the same kit,paint,spoiler,and taillights. He too had an intake and exhaust. On the rear spoiler, he had NISMO graphics going across. The one thing that I love are his fiberglass door panels. Im wondering if it is the same guy. Man will those people make some money when they sell their cars after the movie is out.

I think the main cars in the movie were purpose built (you can find the supra's makers at http://www.suprastore.com) but all of the "extras" cars were off the street. I met a guy who's RX-7 was used at the "Race Wars" part of the flick.

Most likely not... this car doesent have an exhaust. Saw the car again today, he now is sporting the big wing and a huge APC logo on the front hood. still.. no performance modifications....

Having an APC sticker absolutley ruins a car.I don't give a damn if it's an MK4 Supra with $90,000 put into it. If theres an APC sticker on it, keep that piece of crap away from me. APC is sh*t, and I think we should ban members that buy from them.

Speaking of the F&F2 and APC, I read in the latest issue of super street that the movie will be featuring a lot of APC products made exclusively for the movie. "APC is ready for and excited about the opportunity to manufacture The Fast and the Furious products for distribution". Get your rice vaccination shots ahead of time guys.

Yeah, they also said that they were "one of the two best tuning companies":thinker but goes on to say that they will be making" windsheild and qarter panel decals, car badges, and body graphics... WhoopEEEE!!! Stickers!

But Nobuteru Taniguchi's S15 is beautiful...

Why does it seem like APC and Tuning just do go right together? i have never seen APC make "go fast" bits for cars.. unless they call that crap intake of theirs "performance" LOL Sad though.. you should se some of the cars in the new addition of "The not so Fast and the Ricyness" i saw some nice cars that actually had over 160 HP there get turned down, but a stock civic with a clear hood get taken in. The only car that is fast.. is MotoRex's Blackbird Skyline (that got the flake paint and sticker treatment, for the movie) and i think liberman's Supra is in it again. And we probably wont even get to see the Skyline race like in the last one.
