240/altima interchange

240's were never very popular here in new england but we have tons of cheap alitma engines...ka24de's will any of these be a direct swap into my 91 S13?????? if not what is the problem?

SO,,,, my consern is in the block what is going on bosses missing or not there? Bolt pattern for trans different? what are the differences.

No, there are a great deal of differences between the RWD and FWD KAs. You will spend twice as much making a FWD motor fit as you would having a clean RWD motor shipped to you.
