240k isnt THAT high, its getting up there though. my old s13 had 276k on orig. motor and trans and ran perfectly.

My first 240 was a 92 convertible and the auto transmission went out at 243k. I weighed the fact that it had rust all over it and a 5 speed swap I had planned wouldn't be a good idea on such a bad chassis so I sold it and got a nicer coupe. Anyway, the motor still ran great!
