Just wanted to know if some 225/60/16 tires will work/fit on 95' 240SX 5-spoke alloys? What will be the negative side effects? I think the stock tires are 205/55/16. I recently got into a little accident after the rain and jumped a small curb, now there's a titty on my left front tire.

ratings for the tires are....TREADWARE IS RATED 680 ,TRACTION A, AND TEMPERTURE IS RATED B.....so are these good tires or not so good? BTW, they're Kumho tires.

yeah you probably dont want those if youre a sporty driver.

680 treadwear=they last forever but arent sticky at all.

what i have learned is what matters most for grip is not your tire's width, but your tire's rubber compound.

Although the treadwear rating can be an arbitrary number, it is a very useful guide as to how much grip you will generally get.

205/55-16 is the ideal for the S14 SE alloy,

but I've seen 225/50-16(I'll have to get the pic up) on the SE alloy and it looks just as bad as the 225/50-15 on the S13 alloy. Imagine how the 225/60 looks! Those sizes are just too wide for the wheel.
