I'd love to see it...

I've seen 22's on a Q45, but never an M.

As long as you can find a set in the proper offset (M has an odd offset), proper OD (outside diameter), and sufficient load rating, you should be good to go.

Although, if NY streets are as bad as I recall, you might want to insure the rims and tires seperately!

I have not seen anybody do this yet. In addition to what Greg mentions, my concern would be finding tires that have the load index values good enough for the M - this is a heavy car (particularly the M45)!

Since you are in New York City, I would be kinda concerned about the theft situation too!

At another forum there are two members with 22" wheels on their M and one WCBALLER has 22" staggard wheels and slammed.

22s shouldnt be a big deal.. The M has a more common offset to cars like the LS, GS and so forth.. The older Qs and Ms used a medium offset, whereas the new M uses a high offset (for an 8in wheel, old Q used 30-40, M uses 50ish)

Be sure your tires are adequate with 95 load rating.....

If you are still looking for stock 06 sport rims, I have some available from my m45 sport. I recently purchased some 20" ASA chrome rims. The wheels and tires are in excellent conditions, no scratches, 9500 miles on them. Let me know if you are interested. will post pics if interested.

Just lost my job right after i got the wheels. They are 22 inch TIS wheels the offset 8.5 all the way around with a 3 in a half in lip. Nitto tires 255/30/22 all the way around they only have about 160 miles on them. Im asking for $3000 or 3100 with shipping. I got these wheels just 2 weeks ago for 3700. They are basically brand new with a huge discount.

I've got 22's on my M45 Sport but I'm looking to sell the car and the wheels. If anyone's interested, give me holla. I've had no problems with the car or the rims. I'm in the business (car audio and accessories), so it's just time to make a change.

Just change them over from the factory wheels. It is built into the valve stem. Works on all wheels.

im new here. had my m35 for about 3 months. i was going to put asanti's but mine is only a lease so i didnt see the need to spend that much on rims. putting 5% tints and tinting the tail lights tomarow. then taking it to bypass the dvd to watch it while im driving

Doubtful you'll get a response as this thread is nearly 3 years old.
