I like your determination. You keep going to those BIG wheels and everybody keeps telling you that there is "NO BALANCE" to that look.Imagine a 5'2" girl with 20" stilettos.

Not that the Y33 is a 5'2" girl, but that's how unbalanced this looks. 18 or 19 is as far as I would go for ANY of the Qs.

Going on looks...seems like it fits flush. Dont like the rims but they dont make the car look all that out of proportion like I thought it would with them boldging out on the sides like others I've seen. But hey they are 22's..they will make any car look like they're offroading, even the bmw 6 and 7 series. Only car that hides the 22's well are the bentley's (not the GT) and rollys royce phantom.

Settle down, settle down... I just posted this for everyone's viewing pleasure. It's not like its my car but it was posted just for fun

Everyones entilted to their own opinions and IMO 18's or even 19's just look to small and leave alot to be desired on the later model Q's. But 20's look just right. If that's your style with 17 and 18 or 19inch rims... then cool, I happy for ya but it's just not my cup tea (as everyone says)

That's just way too much. Let me know when you hit a pothole.

Very shiney/pretty, but IMHO, it looks cartoonish. That's not to say 20's wouldn't be okay, but those 22's are just too much.

Wasn't there a Y33 with the FX45 20" wheels posted on time. Those looked REAL nice.

It's not his car .

Definitely killed the car's looks to me. 20's could be pulled off if it was lower, but those just look totally out of proportion to the car.

Rex,I remember the FX45 wheels on the Y33 myself. I agree, those things were beautiful. Made the car look like a 2006 Model. I also like the FX wheels on the J30. It's amazing how much modern OEM wheels make 10+ year old cars look even that more unique and stylish...go figure!

Yes, that looks awesome right there! One of the many things I love about the Y33 is that it still looks modern, considering it went till 2001 it's "current" looking. I never feel like I'm in an older car, and people that ask me about it always think it's new.

Those rims look better on the Y33 than F50

Not something I'd drive, but I think the style of wheel is a nice compliment to the car...

Looks pretty cool.

The 20" FX wheels look KILLER on a Y33.

The 22's are a bit too big for the Y33.

Those FX wheels fit really nicely. I think 18"-20" fit pretty well. I never thought i'd say that as I'm usually not a fan of huge wheels (and expensive tires).

Give him some grape juice, take away the grape drink.

There has to be a better lit pic of that Y33 with the FX's on it somewhere???

Found it wheels could use a touch more sidewall, IMHO.

Good googly moogly! Thanks for posting the pics. Wow, those are some big wheels. I know some Ford Expeditions that don't have 22 inch wheels. I could trade those wheels in and get another Active First Gen and have enough left over to chrome the plenum!

They'd be awesome in 15", then you'd got 10 seconds quicker in the 1/4.

Jesda & Wes, what's your fascination with my pierced nipple? Never seen one before? It's been in there for 11 years and you two seem really interested in it. If you'd like, you can touch it.

What, you don't like the rubber bands on caster wheels look?

Definitely would appeal to a 3rd grade dropout.

Like the ones GQ Jay found.

I don't know..... I just can't get with these 20s. They are a beautiful wheel, just too much of it. It dominates the picture/profile view of the car. 19" is as high as I would go with the G50 and Y33, and okay... I give in.... 20" for the F50. That's gotta make Bruce happy.
