Thanks again for the diagram. I do have a few questions I'm hoping you can answer. I believe I need to splice into the wires that are connected to the BCM via the connectors (page 188 of PDF but page listed as 184 of 246). However I'm not sure which connectors and terminal numbers I should be using. What's confusing me is that there are multiple terminals where the signal name contains "lock" and "unlock" related to the doors. I'm looking to splice into the correct terminals for (1) lock doors (2) unlock doors (3) hazard lights and (4) ground. There are multiple ground terminals so I'm assuming I could splice into any one of them. Do you happen to know which terminals I should be using? I plan on piggybacking off the inside/cabin roof light fuse via a fuse tap to power the keyless entry receiver. Thanks in advance either way for answering my questions.VStar650CL wrote: ↑Sat Jan 27, 2024 6:07 amDone, check your inbox. As with the previous poster, it's confidential and for personal use only. Thanks again. I really appreciate your knowledge and expertise.VStar650CL wrote: ↑Sun Jan 28, 2024 5:36 amThe front and rear door locks are driven separately with the rears having their own relay, so you'll want to manipulate the lines for the lock/unlock switches in the doors and not try to drive the actuator motors directly. To lock, you want to drive BCM pin 71 White to ground, to unlock drive pin 53 Green to ground.
You can get your system ground from just about any piece of metal on the car. Most of the stuff inside the cabin grounds to the big crossmember that spans the car underneath the dash, so anything welded or attached to that will be a solid ground.
The hazard lamps are more complicated because the BCM drives them directly with separate lines for left/right. Your best approach will be to ground the Haz Switch line at pin 48 Pink to fool the BCM into turning them on.
In general, if you need to turn a high-going strobe into a ground strobe, you can do that using a "Bosch Box" relay to invert the signal. Hook up as follows:
30, 86 - Ground
85 - High-going trigger source
87 - Low-going output
87a - Unused
I can get you diagrams, but I'll need to know exactly which systems your unit needs to patch into. The OE security and immobilizer systems are run exclusively by the BCM, and anything you add to the car in that regard needs to coexist with it. That can make aftermarket setups lacking a model-specific interface harness very dicey to patch in.JRW wrote: ↑Sat Apr 27, 2024 6:30 pmI'm looking to install a remote start keyless entry alarm system in my 24 versa s and would appreciate any wiring diagrams and advice on installing it. May you please send it to me as well!VStar650CL wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 7:45 amPost your email addy, I'll email you a copy. It will be confidential and for personal use only, DO NOT SHARE IT.
Could I get it too? I'm also trying to put an alarm system in my Versa S.VStar650CL wrote: ↑Tue Dec 19, 2023 7:45 amPost your email addy, I'll email you a copy. It will be confidential and for personal use only, DO NOT SHARE IT.
I don't think I got it. Could you send it one more time ThanksVStar650CL wrote: ↑Wed Jul 17, 2024 9:55 amDone, check your inbox. As with previous posters, it's confidential and for personal use only. DO NOT SHARE IT.
