In 2014, the G37 Sedan became Infiniti Q50. G37 Coupe and Convertible became Infiniti Q60 under Infiniti's new naming structure - Here's the place to discuss the Q50 and Q60!

So, the dealership cleaned them out yesterday and said that they use a can of compressed air with an 8 to 10 inch tube attachment that they stick into the holes and blasts out the clog.
Anybody heard of this? I'm going to run by the dealership and ask the parts guy about this. He should know.
Didn't know if anybody has used any of the snakes that are for sale on ebay with any luck.
Or, have used air to blow them out.
Thanks.

I'm a Nissan tech and not Infiniti, but if it has the same drain fittings as the Nissan line (which I strongly suspect it does), neither air nor snakes will prevent the problem from recurring. See post #16 here for why: post6844183.html

The Infiniti advisor told me that they use a can of compressed air with a tube they put down the drain hole. I need to pop by the parts dept and ask about this. Will also make sure to keep the channels and interior inside the sunroof clean. thanks!!!

If you don't break or remove the diffuser nubs in the bulkhead fittings, compressed air can be your worst nightmare. What you'll wind up with at some point is a hose that pops off the fitting from backpressure, like what happened to this poor gent with a "mystery leak" even though his drains seemed to be working: topic633954.html#p6856464
The drain hoses have no clamps, only stiction holds them in place. When they blow off at the base it may or may not be an easy fix, but when they blow off at the top you'll be dropping the headliner and cussing profusely. If you want to use air, exercise due diligence first and bust those diffusers. You've been warned.
