For those interested, Nissan has updated their Rogue page with the 2017 model and a configurator. Not much mention of the hybrid so far though.

2016 SL fully loaded FWD vs 2017 SL fully loaded FWD.
For a fully loaded SL, it looks like prices have been increased by about $1000. You do get a few more tech features for your money so it's not too bad.

Nothing really new since the illuminated kick plates are available for the 2014- 2016.

I agree with jryka. I went to configure 2017 Rogue SV and only interior color listed is charcoal.
Although in the Gallery of pictures for the interior, Almond cloth is shown.

One thing I hate about my 2015 is that I cannot see the Aux/USB ports at night. Looking at this 2017 Rogue Hybrid Video, happy to see they addressed it

Hopefully this port will be a straight swap with previous second gens

Alex had a great review there. Couple interesting things to note that while the fog lights are integrated now, they're still halogens! Bit of a miss by Nissan there. Also, the hybrid does come with a spare tire! Something that you usually don't see since a lot of hybrids get rid of the spare for additional battery capacity.

I would be interested in getting a SL hybrid if I was in the market to buy now. But I'll keep trucking on with my 2015 for now.

It appears you can now get the family pack with the third row in conjunction with the panoramic sun roof. If the configurator is correct, have yet to see one configured as such at a dealer.

Memory seats should have came standard on the 2015 SL model. I would also prefer they beef up the NAV/Radio since I believe it is horrible for small streets and real world use.

Test drove a SL AWD with platinum package and 19 inch wheels. Dealer had 4 new ones in stock. I'm sold and will probably buy a Black 17 within a month or early part of next year. I really like the updated interior and the panoramic sunroof. Hoping to add this as our second rogue.

Just ordered 2017 Rogue SL with the Platinum Reserve package. Upgrading from 2014 Rogue SV with Premium Package. The little upgrades they did on the 2017 are pretty good, I felt they listened to the 2014-16 owners and they came through. For me coming from the 2014 Rogue SV, there were a lot of upgrades that I appreciated. Heated seats, trunk light is now located on the top rather than on the side, both mirrors point to the ground when the car is reverse, additional safety features. Looking forward to my upgrade!

One omission I noticed was the lack of HD radio. Seems like they didn't want to bring over the same system that's in the Murano in favor of minor tweaks to the existing one.

For those curious, Nissan has released pricing and EPG mileage estimates for the Rogue Hybrid. It's been added to their configurator page as well.

Curiously enough, the top trim SL Hybrid misses out on the adaptive cruise control...it's not even an option.

SL,Platinum trim

Post

I just got the 17 sl awd with platinum trim last week. It's gorgeous.
My only issue is that I can't for the life of me figure out how to work the foot activated liftgate. If anyone has access to a manual or a secret way to make it work, it really doesn't work most of the time. Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

But, super smooth ride, eco and sport modes, pretty good on gas, beautiful leather trim, led fog and signal lights, it's a beautlful machine.

Someone in my complex just got a '17 - same color and trim as my '14. Bastards. lol I will be physically inspecting their tail lights to see if they are a bolt-on replacement, however, I don't know how interested I am in making the change - since I could just smoke the ones I have and get virtually the same thing.

I just traded my 2015 Nissan Rogue SV for the 2017.5 SV with premium package and sun and sound sunroof option. The decision to trade it in was based on a loaner I received while my 2015 was being repaired for minor accident. I received a 2017 loaner SV Rogue. I was blown away how much quieter the 2017 was verse the 2015. There was no idle problems either when the AC was on when I was at a light etc and the slight vibration in steering wheel when driving when I reach roughly 20 to 30 miles an hour was gone. The dealer told me that the nvh was improved in the 2017 with thicker glass and more sound deadening material throughout the cabin. Steering is definitely more responive.
So that's sold me and I traded in my blue 2015 for a blue 2017.5. It definitely was an upgrade as I did not have a sunroof or navigation in the previous one. The 2017.5 also includes Forward Collision, blind spot and parking assist.
If I were to nitpick I I'm slightly disappointed with the navigation and Nissanconnect system. It seems to lag when switching to apps or switching through different commands. Also audio seems to cut for a second every minute or so and no matter what option is chosen like Bluetooth XM Etc. I wish there was a Android auto option also on this model.

I've had my car that I just purchased for 300 miles now so I can't comment on fuel economy as its increased by 1 mile per gallon versus the 2015.

I wonder if the Nismo body kit for the JDM X-Trail would fit it. It looks like the same body.
