Hello Forum I have a Q70 3.7 2015 that doesn't have the illuminated door sills. I purchased them online and now trying to install them. The instructions says to hook up to the pre-wired connections but I cannot find the pre-wired connection. Does anyone have a any idea if the Q70S 3.7 2015 is pre-wired for illuminated door sills?

The connection is TH08MW to pre-wired TH08FW.

Any help or videos showing how this is done would be appreciated.

My 2012 M56 was totaled thanksgiving week so this is a new car to me.

I'm assuming you have checked the FSM? Also, assuming you pulled the old sills off and didn't see a connector there? Perhaps they fed it up the left foot kick panel area and you need to pull it down?

My understanding is that it only came from the factory with the accessory connector harness if it had something that would require it. I haven't tried to add anything on my Q70 (which has the illuminated door sills) but in the 2022+ QX60's, this has been the case for us.

Thanks all, I was able to find the connection taped up at the top covered with tape. Had to cut it out to get to it. So just to confirm that q70 2015 Sport model has the pre-wired connection.

Hi, My 2016 Q70 3.7 has the same quiestion like you, would you please take a pciture to show the location where you found the harness?
I read the past M37 posts with videos, but didn't find the harness from the location that I saw in the video.

Thank you

The howto guide for this has some good, detailed annotated photos and diagrams. I suspect the Q70 is the same as the M37. Scroll down a bit on the first page of this post to see some helpful pics (by yours truly, and others):
