I am looking into taking advantage of the current incentives and trade in my 2011 Rogue for a 2013. I noticed an option called [G92] Mid Year Change. What is it? It seems that there is a $2300 Equipment Allowance for cars that do not have it.

Also - does anybody know if they fixed the stupid nav system so that you could use bluetooth and navigate at the same time? in my 2011 the map disappears when you get a call without being able to bring it back.

Thanks!

I had a chat with a dealership and they told me nothing changed. Just a late year edition. Not sure...

They're just trying to unload all the left over old style models before the revamped model hits the lots in late September to early October.

No fix needed for the bluetooth. That's a safety feature. Nissan feels it's too distracting to look at the nav map while talking on the phone. Have you tried changing from radio to aux. or XM while backing up? Can't be done, and for the same reason...safety.

I beg to differ. Safety has nothing to do with it. It is a half baked product. Every other nav system I used, including systems in other Nissan/Infinity model allows navigation and bluetooth at the same time. Furthermore, with the Rogue system, when you get a phone call, the display shows a small navigation arrow that is WAY more distracting than a full map.

Finally, I actually got money back from Nissan after complaining about this "feature".

Begging won't change the facts! :gapteeth:
While it doesn't specifically say so for bluetooth, here's a blrub from the manual.

What may be common on one model doesn't automatically mean it's gonna be the same throughout the fleet. And good on you for getting the dealership to give you some money back, but that proves nothing in regards to the system.

BTW, did you see this thread on the subject? i-would-avoid-the-2011-rogue-nav-system-t534746.html

Yes, I started that thread and Nissan USA gave me money back, not the dealership.

Now that I see that it is still not fixed in the 2013 models, I hope that others will avoid spending money on one of the worst nav/blutooth integration in the market.
