Yes, it's that time of year again and I figured I would start up the fun by hearing everyone's 2013 New Year's Resolutions for their 240sx/Project car.

For last year's resolutions (for reference)... 2012-240sx-car-new-year-resolutions-t549116.html

How it works, let everyone know what you plan on doing over the course of 12 months with your car:

What Mods do you plan on buying / installing?

What type of Build do you plan?

What time do you want to run? track related?

Track times, events, magazine spots, 12 months on jack stands?

And any other car related goals for this year.

Did you finish your 2012 goals?

Then we can all look back a year from now and see what we've accomplished.

For those who are looking to get a head start on your goals... use the following code "NEWYEAR2013" to get 5% off your order during the month of January good for the first 100 orders. http://www.rawbrokerage.com/?sourceCode ... EWYEAR2013 :bigthumb:

Happy New Year everyone!

Hmm...not sure how to list the avalanche of new parts I intend to get.

But I resolve to FINALLY do my frame up I've been preparing for a while. I'll find out once and for all if I can make a J30 rear subframe fit in an S13, finally buy and install the KW Clubsports I'm after, will get around to SPL links all around and replacing all the rubber bushings in my GTS rear uprights with Nismo hard rubber. Custom eccentric lockout plates should be finished soon, my local dealership will love me when I order brand new nuts, bolts, clips, etc to freshen up everything on the chassis, my local body guy is gonna love me when I send a media blasted S-chassis to him for paint and body work, and the custom main harness I've been sitting on for nearly two years will finally go into the car to deal with all the electronics deletions and additions I've done over the years.

Keep it running.

Throw out my shot (and very dangerous at high speed) stock dampers, and install coilovers.

Figure out exactly what's causing my horrible rear end thumping and shaking, it's creeping over into normal driving, and I don't want to break an axle and be stuck, or have the impacts break something else. So, probably axles.

I'd like to get an LSD.

If I can get a good deal on a KA that's not on it's last legs (like mine is) I'll get that. As part of the "keep it running" option.

And little baby steps on the body. Looks are not my first priority, but I have some surface rust that I need to sand and prime, no matter how bad it looks.

I probably won't, but if I get the oppertunity, I would get a compressor and air tools, and then I could also paint the thing without anywhere near as much work as the rustoleum way. Either way, I need to expand my tool collection, you can never have too many tools. Every time I do a new job, I end up spending half as much on tools, as on parts. But I'd rather have them and be self sufficient and prepared, and not depend on anyone.

I'm learning to weld, too, and would like to start fabricating simple junk. Maybe if I can figure out a good way, I'll try to build an engine hoist with scrap. And I think I can forge/weld basic suspension components, strut tower bar, etc, even with my current skills. So I need to get on it, and start trying.

1) Pay off the collateral loan I took out on it.
2) Sell and replace it with a Sky Redline.
3) Never look back.

So far this year I picked up an RB20det, now looking for a trans. I am definitely going have to hit up that deal for a gasket kit and some other things. Hopefully by summer I'll have a drift missile.

I hope to fix up coupe for my neighbor to daily.

I need to retune the TPS on my red hatch and get a quieter exhaust.

I plan on driving mine, have not done that in over 7 years. I plan on putting in the sr20 I have sitting next to it. Finish the wire tuck and then melt a set of tires.
