You remind me of the snooty cheerleader I met at a desert party in college. I PIIHB and made her walk home.
I understand what you mean thats why I said its a bit more complicated than a simply cause/effect correlation.IBCoupe wrote:This is what I was referring to. Of all those quotes, this one bothered me the most:
"We took the Bible and prayer out of public schools. Now we're having weekly shootings. We had the 60s sexual revolution, and now people are dying of AIDS."
So maybe "revisionism" was the wrong word. It's a blatant post hoc fallacy, and it bothers me when it's used on the political scene - she presumes to assign blame and there's no indication that she's doing it correctly. She's making policy suggestions there, and they aren't American.
You're only saying that because in Florida you can't tie your elephant to a parking meter without putting a coin in the meter.UpStar wrote:.... when I make a comment on the above topic you always seem to chime in with something off the topic and smart alec.
Weird! Some little kid called my Silver Ice H2 Hummer a big elephant in a downtown parking structure yesterday. Sorry. I couldn't resist. AZ will know exactly what that means. I hope he finds it as apropos and humorous right here as I think it is.
Anyway, UpStar, I totally agree with you. Sarah Palin on the ballot would definitely help both the Dems and a moderate independent while hurting the Republican cause. What could happen, though, is that she would make a moderate Republican look so good during primary campaigning the Republicans might nominate a reasonable candidate.
Ignorance at it's finest. For you homework today tell me where the original group of "teabaggers" came from and what made them known. There is a specific event I have my finger on. Maybe you and Google can spend some quality time together and figure it out.UpStar wrote: that racist group of tea baggers.
Not off-topic. Your comment was unoriginal, boring, and contributed nothing to the conversation.UpStar wrote:I guess what I'm say is.... when I make a comment on the above topic you always seem to chime in with something off the topic and smart alec.
Not gonna happen. I'm not much of a rule-follower.UpStar wrote:If you dont like what I have to say simply ignore my post and keep it moving, or simply delete my post if you wish.
Nope. I call it like I see it in person, too. Hasn't ever gotten me into anything I can't handle. I can hold my own.UpStar wrote: If you act out in public as if you were on this forum, I promise you that your A$$ would be kicked on a regular basis, but I know you are smarted than that...right?
EDIT: Oops. Except for this moronic statement:UpStar wrote:Excuse my poor use of the ellipses, but anyhow...... Exactly. Palin was the crutch in the McCain camp and everyone knew except her rogue followers. McCain lost by 10.5Million popular votes in the election vs. Obama and in no way will she be able to capture the attention the near 70Million popular votes that Obama received. She is damaged goods in the eyes of many democrat, republicans & independents with an agenda that only promotes herself... This may be far fetched, but I see someone like a Newt Gingrich stepping in and representing for the repubs.

No you don't. Is what you don't know is the anti-Catholic anti-Pope group calling themselves "Teabaggers" burned down a Catholic Church during the Bible riots in the early 1800's (I could be slightly off on the time frame). So when you call us "racist Teabaggers" you are incorrect. You should call us "racist teabagger bigots".UpStar wrote:I know all I need to know about the tea bag party and it wasn't from google.com so lets keep the talk on Palin and 2012![]()

What Ethanol Empire? Corn ethanol is a net loss in energy (takes more energy to create than is yielded in use). Now sugar cane ethanol rocks, much more energy efficient. Might find an Empire forming in Brazil.IBCoupe wrote:She wants to be at the top of the incoming Ethanol Empire.
