I used to think Subys were awesome looking. I always loved the early-mid 2000s models but their sense of style is going in all the wrong directions.

yuck.

And I thought my kouki's front bumper had to many vents, holes, lights and crap on it..... that thing is way to busy. I do like the body style before this though.

^^THIS

04/05 was the best by far. I happen to prefer 04 because I like the older interior (and because I owned one), but I'm probably in the minority.

The 06-08 "flying vagina" was awful, current car is slightly less awful, and the bugeye was okay.

The Impreza *hatch* has grown on me.. A LITTLE..and only in STi form anyway.

Otherwise Subaru is dead to me now. I mean.. look at the new Legacy. JUST LOOK AT IT. It's a goddamn AVALON.

MOF, almost got an 05 one instead of the Z. it was 13k had about 85k miles. It had too much crap done to it though, so that was no fun.

I'd really like a gc8 coupe, i've seen a clean white unmolested RS driving around my area by some old dude. I hope he sells it.

Yeah...I was PISSED when I saw the new Legacy. For a few years there I was really becoming a Subie fan. I liked the last-gen Legacy a LOT (I'd love a 3.0R). The new one is layer upon layer of horrible.I also really don't like that they've shifted the wagon to look more like a crossover than a regular wagon. Outback models have always had high ground clearance, but the new wagon has more in common with a Pilot than a Magnum where proportions are concerned.Oh, and WTF is with naming the wagon Outback and the sedan Legacy now? WTF do companies have to screw around with established naming convention?

I am not a fan of the widebody sedan. It doesn't look right. I liked the original 07 and before fender flare, but 08 and up I don't care for.

I have a pic of a badass widebody 09, but I can't find it online. A friend linked it to me on Facebook, but I am denied access to Facebook at work. I'll post up the pic later tonight.

Ugly or not, it's a damn fast and easily tunable Corolla.

OMG. SRSLY. The new wagons are HORRIBLE. I think they're even worse than the new Legacy sedans. The new Forester is nicer than both...not saying much as that has ballooned as well. Subaru is DEAD TO ME. All cars are just getting heavier, softer and uglier. I miss the lighter Subies of yore...i.e. pre-2008

Sidenote: My co-worker just bought a 09' Legacy sedan (the last of the good body style) in some kind of minty-silver color. It's gorgeous. She loves it (sold her daughter her 99 Passat).

The STi hatch is the only new Subie I like. It's grown on me.

Sedans back

I have to admit from that teaser pic with the cover on, i thought it was the same hatch except with a big wing.
