Hi all~

I just leased the 2011 Rogue SV with the SL package and reading through the book I see they have a Homelink rear view mirror. Looking at my mirror it is just the plain auto-dimming mirror. After talking to the dealer (salesman), he said they do not come in the Rogue. Meaning, no 2011 Rogue SV w/SL package from Nissan with stock equipment will have the Homelink system. I thought that kind of odd. Am I cirrect in saying I have the upgraded model and I still get stuck with the stock auto-dimming mirror?
How much to upgrade? Is it even possible to put a homelink in my vehicle?
Shedding any light on this would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Only the 2008-2009 models got the Homelink mirror. It was deleted for 2010... and 2011.

Your stock mirror can be upgraded. It should be simple matter of swapping them as you already have the wiring harness installed. Everything you want to know about the Homelink Mirror upgrade can be found here:

Have to be careful with home links or remote control in your cars. Now a day thieves steal your cars or garage controls with car Insurance papers with your home address, they go to your house to steal. It happened here two months ago. They stole garage control and Insurance paper with out the car from a church on Sunday when the car owner attended church service. Thieves stole jewelries and money in that house.

Edit: If you have an auto-dimming mirror already installed, the necessary power wiring for the Homelink mirror should be in place as well. Worst case, it may require some splicing of wires.
