Most people buy cars to drive, not look at in driveways.

Low and slow is not how a luxury car buyer wants to go.
True VIP followers are not kids who can't afford their cars. It is very unfortunate that some new G50 owners are young and care about looks before maintainence but for the most part this is completely untrue. You would be surprised the kind of people that actually are into it.

What's weird is that I actually HATE the 460. I love the 400. That's just me. I have a thing for 90's sedans.

The 430 isn't hard on the eyes either.

Maybe so, but nevertheless low and slow is not a target market for a luxury performance vehicle.

I do kind of like the Bonneville FGY33, but not for the street. Wonder what happened to the Indy special FGY33? I think there were at least two.

Me too. While imatative, the early design was at least clean. The 430 not quite so clean.

The LS460 just screams for after market chrome eyebrows for the wheel wells to be added to complete the look.

I drove my Dad's 430 and was DAD's car, if he offered me the 460 I'd take it in a heart-beat...evey car I own is lowered/modded in some way...but I have to say I love the car. I have not given a full run, but it is more BMW performance this time than luxo boat, but that is just my opinion. It is still the bar you have to reach and beat soundly if your going to sell against that reputation.
