you're on the list. Although there is no camping at the fairgrounds, there are alternatives. There might be some NICOnauts willing to share their rooms to help reduce costs. There are also a few campgrounds in the Carlisle area, There are also some inexpensive motels on Carlisle Pike, like Motel6 that advertise $29.99 rooms.

I reserved a room at the Days Inn, and the girl at the desk said their rate was higher that weekend because of the P&S show. I'm all paid up, so now I HAVE to come. lol

Most people are staying at the Holiday Inn in Mechanicsburg. It's what you might call, the "party" hotel.

You're on the list. just to clarify, are you planning to bring someone with you? If so, I'll need their name so they get into the paddock free too.

Most of the NICO staff and many of the Altima folks are staying at the

Holiday Inn West - Mechanicsburg, 5401 Carlisle Pike Mechanicsburg, PA 17050717-697-0321

There are actually many places to stay along Carlisle Pike, many closer to the fairgrounds than this holiday inn. But last year at this place was pretty hopping. Should be again

It'll be a mixture. Those travelling a long distance will likely arrive Friday afternoon/evening and check out Sunday morning.

This one ?
Not sure. Your link did not give an address. There's more than one holiday inn in the area. I listed the address/ phone number a few posts ago so you can double check when you make your reservation.

Make sure they either post here or I get their full names.

Welcome , you're on the list. And M2000 is fine. But currently, we're only allowing passengers in staff cars.

I'm sorry, but no. We're grateful for all volunteer help. In fact we can't operate this event without most folks lending a hand, but volunteering does not mean becoming staff.

Thanks! By currently, do you mean that it is subject to change, or nah?Just wondering - either way should still be fun!

I don't want to give any false hope, assume it's "nah".

They're all on the list, thanks. A lot of people are staying at the Holiday Inn West - Mechanicsburg, about 20 min from the fairgrounds. There are many of places to stay along Carlisle Pike, all price ranges. If you're interested in the Holiday Inn West, the info is on page 7 of this thread.

I don't know if I'll be able to make it, May 8th is the day of the Philly PD written test, and if they have the same turnout that they had 2 years ago I won't get out of there before 1300 hrs, which means I won't show up in Carlisle until sometime Saturday night. I'll try to roll up there for the Saturday night festivities if I can.
