First you are not allowed to put for sale posts In the forums ill let it have one more day because I'm not on my computer.

Second I wouldnt give anyone a dime for any sort of headlight mod without them bring local and having done it on am altima over a dozen times.

Beware!
I love threads like these. Many people tried to bake their lights and failed. There is an art in doing headlights and if you think you can do it I say more power to you!..

I've done lot's of lishts from altimas, maximas, S14s, 350, 370s EVOs, BMW E46, and 90-93 and every single one of them has thier own level of difficulty (except for the e46)

I was one of the people got burnt on the original headlight retro by this guy Brandon. Like LB Coupe said, Buyer's beware.

And I have to ask Innovazn,...why the Jewish comment? I've lost count on how many people contacted me regarding on prices and when I tell them they try to haggle. Really? They want the Taj Mahal for the price of a shed. They want all the bells and whistles at an eBay price. But when it comes to other things like wheels and tires, they won't blink at dropping over 1K at least. I understand that these people don't have a clue about headlights and to them, a headlight is a headlight but there is a difference between quality. I've done enough of headlights to know thatmy time is worth something and to do a job for $300 for a single projector setup is selling my time short, not to mention a decent set of projectors would cost about tha much anyway.

If I was retrofitting projectors, I would be pricing up as well. but Im not. Just open, prep, paint, reseal. this is for another set of head lights. Not taking theirs. Price in itself is significantly different regardless. I'm not here to argue or talk shop. Im providing a choice, an option, and welcoming opinions. I've seen a club member drop 1300 on a set of custom G37 coupe heads only to get them back with the driver side fogging up. Who fixed it? He did. With who's help? Mine. I'm here to freely share information. I have no overhead, I asked for help in terms of Orb dimensions and was denied that from someone who has expertise. To me, this is a "club" not a sales pitch, I'm not here to make money, just a buck or 2 and share the knowledge I was forced to gather on my own.

If people gather their balls to do it on their own, Like you, I say power to them. Or they can go through you or 180 Customs or whoever else and drop 1k+ for something that can be done over a day or 2.

on a side note, the jew comment was not directed at anyone. It's pointing out that I'm only charging for the part what it costs me. I hate mark ups and hate games. I give the option to purchase their own or to let me source the parts.

None the less bro...you're still selling your service whether or not you are making a buck or 2 as you say... you're still getting something. As a vendor, I have to say that you're taking business away from, not just me, but every other retro fitter out there. If you want to do this for other members, fine but do it the right way. Contact the NICO admisitration, pay a fee and advertise your "Semi-free" service on the fabricators market like everyone else does. Guys who want to try this and bake your lights run the risk of melting them and screwing them up and then have the added cost of buying replacement lights to replace the OEM they just melted or screwed up.

You comment of you sharing the knowledge that you were forced to gather on your own makes me laugh! What? you think I went to school for the $hit. No Brother...do some research and find the projector thread that was created around 2008 /2009. I personally got screwed by a guy doing retrofits and I literally rented a car to go to Canada to get my lights and after he had them for almost a month and they were still screwed up. SurmanM was one of the guys too that got screwed and his lights were in worst shape then mine. After working on mine and several other "test" setups, I perfected the art and broaden my knowledge to other makes and models and have been fairly sucessful thus far. I'm not arguing that a retro fit can take a day or two to do but that only happens if you're working on it full time and that also depends on what projectors you install. MH1 absolutely...TLs or Q45..yeah good luck with that. I'm not trying to pick a fight (although it surely does sound that way) but believe me I'm not. It's just I'm passionate and take pride in what I do and to have someone come on here and say, yeah it's a no brainer and then those people try it and screw up and now they have to shell out more money to fix their mistakes makes me upset cause I was there. I'm here to provide a service to the NICO community and help out where ever I can. /rant

so why didnt you help out when i asked about the dimensions for the orbs? Why dont you let people try it on their own? I understand the whole passion bit and all but if people wanna try it.. let them.... You and surmanM got screwed for your heads and had them royally f*** by some dude which caused you grief. I don't wanna have to go through that.... I have 2 sets of head lights and can only use one. Im selling 1 set and seeing as it would be opened ANYWAYS why the hell not help out and paint it and sell off?

I would feel more content in doing up my own lights, then shipping it out there for someone to tinker with. If i f*** mine up, then i pay the price and thats the cost of experimentation.

Sure i could go through you and have my s*** done... but Ive already done everything from opening and painting, i just have to swap out housings. I dont doubt your work, im sure its superb, but there is alwasy that one chance that anyone can be that one of that gets shafted because the unspeakable/impossible happened. and that goes for me as well
