Ok,

So I have a set of 2010+ Altima Coupe headlights up for grabs (OEM Ballast included). - $250 seems like a sweet number atm - subject to change

There's a few things I can do and this is TOTALLY up for offers...

These heads have been on my car for 5 months then new ones were installed (custom ones)

I can do
A) Paint and reseal and sell/ship - Colour matching is POSSIBLE but no gauruntee, need to speak to my shop
B) Do some added work like Halos etc etc.... Parts can be self bought, or i can find it and present it with your price/item approval (will not up sell the parts, you pay what the item costs me kinda deal)

Options are

Buy it out right + Custom work - Shipping, Labour and Materials
or
swap YOURS for MINE + added work.- Shipping and Labour and Materials

Prefer to do it local - Would love ideas to help me sell this as I am going into this sort of side business with a local friend/non nico club member

Halos are a steeep price bro, approx 200+ shipping from Oracle. these are just the rings fyi.

I went through Luceautomotive (ebay) and im still trying to get my f*** money back. Poor communication and terrible service.

yeah just the rings are fine but im still pretty illiterate in installing things=/ the rings would be a great edition to the 2010 headlights does it come with the full headlight or are you literally talking about just the rings without the headlight?

oh yeah i mean if you want the work done, i can pop the housing open paint and install the rings and run wires. but its money... and i will need a deposit for sure....
SanoSuKe wrote:How much for the headlights stock nothing done to them?
tbh, i havent figured that portion out yet, im more looking towards offers and seeing the value of it all...

Ebay sells a single USED Xenon housing for 174 Canadian and it looks a bit beat. And upwards of 300+

I would probably sell the set with bulbs/ballast for 250 STOCK
Aftermods + depending on what's requested. Anything too time consuming or elaborate that I am not able/not willing to do will be discussed before ANY transaction is made.

the wires would be spliced in so for the most part it would be plug and play (or ill just send you instructions if it comes down to it) ill be double checking my wires and stuff before i even think of accepting your money. I will guinea pig my headlights first. Deposit would be determined.

and depending on whether you wanna send me yours or just buy ouright and have 2 heads, then it could be between 300-500 total cost

Would you retrofit a set of 2008 with a single projector? If so, how much?

I'm local too so I wouldn't have to worry about shipping :)

So if I wanted everything painted black and halos installed, and let's say I can meet with you to trade headlights, about how much would that be?

like... 300?

Again, no jew here, the halos (big and small ring) = 200 + SHIPPING (unless you provide a source/material then i can write it off)
Prep time and labour is the rest.

If you could "meet" i swear im going to slit someones throat cuz I need more coupes to join the club. and not the Nico club....

Is this brandon again?
First you are not allowed to put for sale posts In the forums ill let it have one more day because I'm not on my computer.

Second I wouldnt give anyone a dime for any sort of headlight mod without them bring local and having done it on am altima over a dozen times.

Beware!

.... its not really a for sale more so an idea/feedback post

secondly, ive been on the forums for a while and im more then active.

third, my first post says i would rather deal locally then anything

Im trying to offer a service at a fraction of the cost. I have already done work on mine however is still incomplete. All that needs to be done is putting it back together.
I've also offered Headhunterz who is local a lesson in doing his OWN headlights again at a fraction of the cost

This thread is moving along fine and i honestly don't see much of an issue in it being up. If you want me to adjust my first post to reflect it better I can do so.
Tell people to "beware" and s*** but my personal build thread speaks for itself. I would love to do this work on altima's over a dozen times but unfortunately they are scarce around my parts.

I've done 370Z, 350Z, G35 and G37's to date. I may not have overhead, but i still can do the work as a member of this forum. I'm no jew and information is free. Id gladly share to everyone here how to re and re their own head lights without sending them out across the country for over $1000.00 for an extended time.

The time it took me to pop open my head lights was about 20 minutes PER HEAD LIGHT watching family guy and another 30 minutes of prep work before sending it to a paint shop to colour match/matte housing (another 1 hour if you do it yourself)
a few km/m trip to a dealer/autoparts store for more sealant and another 20 minutes PER HEADLIGHT watching more family guy and you have finished headlights.

Weird, Innovazn never came off as the "untrustworthy" type. He has been pretty active, so I dont see why he shouldn't be trusted.

BTW, I'd like to bake my headlights too, but its much for tedious that 3rd gen altima headlights. You said for 20 mins? how high of temperature do you set it too? I tried doing my friends light last time and it melted the back housing and it STILL didn't open until I learned that Nissan perma-seals their lights.

350.

20 minutes to be 100% sure.... you did remove all the screws and stuff first right?
have to work SUPER fast otherwise it gets cold and it goes back in for an extra 5.... thats how i learned.. I did 15 before but leave it in the extra 5 and uner for the precautionary. 370Z headlights are easy to open compared to our headlights. theres a bit more "surgical" factor to it when removing the innards

Have fun
