Consider as well, what you want for an engine/transmission. As stock gets low on the 2009s, you may not find the car you want if you're set on a 3.5 6MT because there just aren't that many produced (6%) as you can see from your sheet. And never trust just one dealer for what's in stock, make them check on their computer. The first dealer I spoke to said I had to buy an 09 because there were not any 08 6MT 3.5s available. I was trying to see if I could do better than the APA price at my local dealer. So I called the APA dealer, who found what I wanted, at a better price, and I was driving away a week later. Lesson learned. Don't trust these guys, they only want your money.

And you'll probably get a better lease rate on an 09 also.

I usually go through a leasing broker who gives me good deals but probably only amounts to approx. 2% off.

It's amazing to me how much cheaper these cars are in the US. There are a ton of people who got 2008 3.5 SE full loaded, walk out with taxes, freight, etc. for between 28-29K USD which is just over 30 CAD. I don't see anything close to this in Canada. a 3.5SE would run you 36-38K at least I would think.

Looks like some nice features, 18" rims on the SR, wheee. Interesting that they are dropping the SL, but since about 5 people bought that variant I guess it's not that surprising.

Based on those spy shots, the styling may be...interesting. I was hoping for more aggressive headlights, possibly with the new arrow shape.

I'm guessing at least the SR will get a HP bump to 275 or so, just to put it back ahead of the Mazda 6 and the Accord (which is slow as sin when coupled with its horrid 5 speed transmission).

I don't think it will have the sport driving mode, they will leave some features for the Maxima and the Maxima only so that people who are looking at the SR may consider the max. The max is really nice, but the shorter rear leg room and the smaller trunk are kind of deal killers for me vs. an Altima.

It will be interesting to see pricing and final design, I can't imagine it's far off now as we are already into mid september and other 2010 models are starting to come out.

Like I said it was up and gone within an hour. You won't find it on there anymore. At least not right now. There was a link on the homepage that said 2010 altima. I clicked on it and that was the pic that was up. No other pics but it had a caption that read "more coming soon!".

The coupe WILL have projectors. I already confirmed this with a dealer in my area (saw it on the spec sheet).

don't be so sure.... for some reason, the 2008 Canadian spec sheet said that the premium package offered "Xenon projector" headlights.... aparently, someone in the Canadian Nissan factory didn't realize that HID and projector are NOT interchangeable... so I'm not saying the new coupe won't have projectors, but the Nissan Canada have incorrectly reported this in the past

*edit* I just looked at the sheet you posted on the first page... it doesn't mention anything about projectors on there... you do realize that HID Xenon and projectors aren't the same thing right?

I agree as the Versa sheet (I own one that why I know) that came out before the pics stated new bumpers, side skirts, and lights. This was released straight from nissan. The only thing changed was the dam grill! But I hear there is going to be more things coming for the V in january. So I guess maybe there will be a 2010.5 for that.

My point is don't believe everything you read even if it is coming from nissan.

the headlights look like a down grade, ill take the amber strip over those anyday. the hood and fascia are def different too even for the sedan. but this is the second "comfirmed" pic of the 2010 altima. im just waiting for someone like motor trend/automobile/R&T to have somthing on the new one.

yes I realize that HID and projectors are different.... I saw a different sheet than the one I posted on page 1 that the dealer would not photocopy for me. It explicitly mentioned projectors as a new feature for the coupe. Also, the red coupe in the spy photo clearly shows projectors. So I'm 99.9% sure it'll be there.

there is a rumor about a red interior for the 3.5 SR coupe too. it's been release on lots of internet type "build your 2010 altima" configurators.

I've looked at the spy shot photo, and I don't clearly see projectors... I see halo looking rings that could very well just be the chrome rings reflecting the light for the sun... but I don't definitively see projectors... who knows, maybe they will hav them, maybe they won't.... damn, I wish TK had taken more photos...

On a side note, Jose... what happened to your Stillen front lip? That thing looks scraped up bad! I got a bad scrape on the side of my lip coming out of a parking lot onto the street a few months back, but that looks like multiple hits to it. /end threadjack

I e-mailed nissan public relation today and got a reply.the person told me there will be no more pictures post on nissannews.com untill early OCT when the car are on the lot for sale.hope someone find a spy shoot of the new sedan or coupe.
