well, like i said on a road course, id have to give it to a 24o over a 2oosx, but, i think a 24o would be owned on a road course against the new spec v

Um yeah....I can tell you right now the only stock Nissan that could own me on a road course is going to be a Skyline. Not trying to brag, but the Spec V suspension is phenomenal for stock.

I should have a chance to show some 240 owners at the 240 convention this year, as I will most likely be running my spec V. I'll prove the urban legend wrong that RWD owns on a road course.

yea, im backin u on that one dude, however i dont think itd take much for a silvia to own u on a road course (hey, u said ANY nissan :)), and i always thought the spec v was an awesome car, and quick for the moeny, gobs of tq, and amazing handling, however, it seems every magazine in the world disagrees, i hate this!!!, it loses to the svt focus, minicooper S, dodge neon srt4, and mazdaspeed protege in a fairly recent SCC mag

I don't think a stock silvia could own me on a road course. It might beat me, but it wouldn't own me.

Oh and hey nlsmo, your quote.... I love it. But didn't you know that the limited edition 2000 GT-R model came with all that stuff? They even run 11's on the track with the stock intercooler :)

as much as i luv ur car, a silvia would beat u on a road course, but an s15 would OWN u, although that should be somwhat expected (and i am talking about a stock spec v, ive never driven one with mods). and also how did u know about that qoute, im pretty sure i got it from racingflix.com or kazaa or one of those, howd u recognize it??

BTW:if you match up the new(02 and up) Spec V the SE-R puts the 240's down.Ive taken out both the s13 & s14 both mostly stock. All in good fun.

OH... no doubt at all!!! The SE-R spec-V is WAYYYYY faster and more nimble than a 240sx stock vs.stock. It's not even a question. I've driven both... and the Spec-V with 3 people in it and the AC blasting was still faster than my empty 240 was stock.

It's on the Mischief 3000 video in the bonus features, labeled "domestic rice." They interview a guy with a "mustang GT-R" at a rice convention.

i believe the 350z would get ya on the road course.

My freind has a 91 240sx fastback and has beat a local spec-v twice ($50 a race) he has intake,exaust,5-speed. EZcheese15: was your 200sx a stick? if so you ran a 16. in the 1/4mile.was that with intake or anything?

My s14 slush got a 16.4 with just an intake.(and my front left tire was losing air badly)

I like comparing these two(three) cars.:icesangel

Ok, yeah, 350Z would take me. Forgot a few cars, what can I say :)

Yeah, my 200SX was a 5-spd. I ran 16.0 with a JWT popcharger (read my previous posts for full list of mods).

Keep in mind, I had a 98, which was the only year 200SX withOUT VLSD.
