This is a German website dedicated to the 200sx. I know probably none of you can read German. You don't have to read German to look through pics. Some might require you to click through the threads to see the pics but there are some good ones up there.

If you go to the website you will see "PROJEKTE."

NACHSTE is FORWARD LETZTE is LAST PAGE

Here you can see some of the projects going on over here. You will of course see a lot of stock stuff as inspection is rough here. A lot of them also will be guys dodging the inspection

Just to give you guys more pics to look at.

http://200sx-forum.com/forum/t...age=1

The above thread is a really nice clean S13 200sx with a bad ending.

Enjoy everybodyAgain just to

yeah I am going to have my wife translate some more of this guys thread for me. He has taken a CA head and cut it up into different cross sections so he could see better the internals of the head. He points out a lot of different stuff on the head and what he is doing. My German isn't that bad but the things he is talking about is way over my head. It is a beautiful piece of work though.

Yes sure .. in Germany we drive at the right side of the road an the steeringwheels is always on left side!

But the German Silvia is called 200SX and the S13 has the CA18DET ... The S14/S14a has the SR20DET ...

If u intressted to buy a SX from Germany look here: http://www.autoscout24.de/home...arten

No thanks necessary (that is if Capwred you are thanking me). It is just that there is another place where CA's are being worked on and I thought they also deserved some recognition.

I had a 1991 Supra (euro spec) that a soldier wanted to take back just to race. He did all the calling and everything and found out that the car would have to be converted to US Spec in order to drive it anywhere. He wanted to "only" use it as a race car and they told him it would still have to be converted before he would be able to pick it up. He said the car would have to be picked up at the port where it was being delivered by a certified company that could convert the car. Once the car was converted then it was good to go. However conversions can be expensive and you would have to find out what needs to be done. Some people say that the glass would have to be changed, the doors (no beams running through), wiring the lights different. Again this is all from what others are saying. It has been done and can be done cheaper if you already have the stuff there to exchange.

As for the price of the cars, you can find one in good shape for about 3000 bucks. unfortunately the euro to usd is not very good right now so the car will cost more. I got lucky and picked up my last one for about 1700 bucks. I just posted mine for sale for 2000 bucks over here.

Here is some more information. This might help I don't know but it is the army website on shipping a car.

There are also a bunch of online currency conversions but here the Army radio station tells you everyday what the rate is. Today the rate was 1 USD = .7659 euro. It is very bad right now. When the euro was first introduced a few years ago it was 1 usd = 1.2 euro. So there was a very bad decline in the usd making the cars more expensive. I hope this helps you guys in determining price.
