Except for those of us with parts in our basements already.LongBeachCoupe wrote:if it were a paddle shift, i woulda went manual...
hopefully the car stays the same... and all the suckers buying the 09 will have to step their game up to catch up with all these hookedup 08 coupes!
Then you folks that have the 6Speed may want to hold on to them,, collector edition????mcheddadi wrote:
yeah, on nissanclub someone said that their aunt was working at Nissan USA and that the manual would be no more. only CVT.that's a dumb move but I don't care since I already got mine in 6SPD.
2009 will have maybe more standard things for the base model and nothing for the fully equipped I guess.
maybe a revised front grille, wheels or rear cargo space.

I wonder if the '09 coupe is cvt only if it will use this system. The maxima says it has two modes and paddle shifters. It would be cool to have the cvt realize that you want to drive "spritied" and hold higher rpms longer thorough corners and during breaking to increase acceleration response.
That would be sweet.thealtimatum wrote:NISMO ALTIMA COUPE!!!
