That is all

I'm already sick of this thread. Stop voting for me and vote for Dangeris and Loop.
Da*n B-more, I don't even go hard in the paint like that...

I don;t think you should have taken offense at all at what Importroller stated... he didn't say " dear god, you guys voted for this whack a$$ car, it doesn't even have any mods" , or anything disrespectful like that, he just said that it was the plainest looking coupe of the bunch... and it is...

but I tried to tactfully explain your theme and goals in my earlier thread, and under those guidelines, I 100% understand why you received so many votes...

I think Importroller is coming from the mod world's point of view.. for instance, there are some car shows that would not even allow you to enter their show because your car looks too plain and doesn't have enough mods... HIN is one of those car shows where you need a minimum of 5 mods to even enter your car! So by some accounts, your car isn';t really modded... I thionk that's where he was coming from...

but the thing is, Importroller, this isn't a car show.. its a FRIENDLY FORUM where a member decided to ask the NICO members who's car they liked the best... and most of the NICO members have simple cars, or may be going after the simple , clean look, so it makes sense that B-more would get a lot of votes.

You can't say someone's opinon of what they like is wrong or right, its just what they like...

so, now, let's get back to singing CUMBAYA

I know you guys on Nicos Altimas section are really close and all, But I'm not one of your butt buddies, so eating that isn't an option for me.

I accidently voted for you because of the way the links work on this site for the votes. I thought clicking your name would show me pics of the car or something, but instead it casted a vote. And since the OP never even bothered to put pics up of the cars listed, Maybe people are accidentally voting for the first name on the list. Its the only logical reason i can think of why you are at the top
I retract my apology.

Thats why I apologized to begin with. I was just cranky. I stated that already.

yeah i think the general lack of pictures is why some of the voting may have turned out as it did... the people that come here from other areas of the forum don't necessarily know what all the cars look like... so they simply vote for the ones that they HAVE seen pics of... it doesn't mean that they don't like the others more

just a random example... a lot of people see certain people's cars when they post in gen chat because of their sigs... other never stray to gen chat so no one knows what the car looks like or what cars this forum has to offer...

mcheddadi... i feel you prolly didn't get votes for this reason... i personally have seen some random things you've posted in gen chat but have no idea what your car ACTUALLY looks like

Out of all the altima coupes, my car is a sleeper and dare I say, best handling one in the world! ... ( can you tell my ego's been crushed lol)

I'm going to go eat my emo cookies now

You too matt. I guess this is just karma for my comments in the rotm thread. So I will take a page out of rob vegans book, and not take offense. I have a hard time holding back sometimes. So I will be more graceful in the future when people make insulting comments and then say "no offense".

Thanks to those voting for me.
Apology? Please don't tell me this statement was your half @ssed attempt of an apology. I don't see an I'm sorry anywhere in there. Don't hold back your opinions on my account, cause lord knows I wouldn't hold back. You are obviously just a douge bag normally and can't take other's opinions at all if it goes against your opinion which is why the first words you respond with is you asking me to suck your lil pecker. I never said your car was bad, ugly, or anything close, I just said it has the least amount of stuff on it to make it stand out from any other coupe I see on the road.

Doc, you are right in a sense. When I think of the car of the year, I would expect it to be the cleanest and most modded car. Not a car with just a front fascia, side skirts, and an intake. If that was the case, 90% of the cars on here should be up for the title. If I could get my vote removed, I would definately put it on a different car than my mistake vote went towards.

OK, Im done with my rant.

...for now.

I would expect these types of comments from a member under..... lets say 20ish, but come on. You are trying to start a fight with another grown man on the internet. I said that I was in a bad mood when I made my first comment, that doesn't mean that I am a "douge bag" as you put it. I don't need to justify myself or my comments to anyone, but I decided to say that it was uncalled for even before you responded.

Grow up.

First, a Limited Slip Differential doesn't do anything until your tires actually start to slip. With the car being lower, tighter, stickier, and moderatley underpowered, thats not a factor. Hell, torque steer isn't even felt most of the time because the steering is so light. So thats out of the picture.

Secondly, all those other components are good, however you are missing a front and rear strut tower bar, frame crossmember, front sway bar, and wieght reduction to balance the car. Which also all has to be calibrated with the coilovers

Third, you have to be a good driver. Being that your from snow-land, i doubt you see much track time to hone your skills.

Based on all those facts, yes, there are better handling Altima Coupes Ask Robert.

Maybe his handles best using ricer math mentality. Kinda like if my intake makes 10hp, and my catback makes 10, then I now make 20 more hp, when in reality its only 10-15 hp total gained with both mods combined

I race in officially sanctioned races and got a B class racing license so I think my skill are better than average...

what is with people not getting how a LSD is a HUGE improvement. thats equivalent to a turbo in handling department. I guess it's hard to imagine color if you're stuck in black and white

Both adidas2go and Importroller are performance and driving gurus bruh... students should be careful when trying to lecture to the professor!!!!

Let's get greg involved and see what his opinion on HLSD are, and how much it would help to have one on the Altima

anyone who's driven non lsd equipped FWD and lsd equipped FWD will say the same thing. its makes A WORLD of difference. when you race you push your car to the limit, and in the corners having an HLSD allows you to accelerate sooner, harded and better out of your corners. I'm suprised blake doesn't get that...obviously he never driven a fwd car with it and I'm guessing importroller too. hlsd is an extra option on most performance cars for a reason. its expensive to add to a fwd car and it WORKS.

i'm going to let some off you guys try it out at carlisle next year. you'll see!
