Recently purchased my second QX56. This one is a 2008 and I am trying to disable the speed sensor and E-brake to view while moving. I followed the zero thread 301458 but cannot override the e-brake as shown at the back of the radio bezel.I was able to disable the speed sensor. The e-brake still overrides, but if I ground the e-brake wire I can view but the brake light stays on with the warning bell.I put switching relays at pin #80 and pin #82 at the back of the radio bezel.. Any ideas?

Does your DVD ever work on the front screen? Ive never seen it. It always says, "Video will resume when vehicle is stopped" but never have I seen a DVD on there...

I get the DVD to play up front when the vehicle is stopped , in park, and e-brake applied. I have been able to make mods to get it to play while moving except the e-brake is giving me a challenge.

read somewhere that you need to cut the line to the parking brake and ground it. theres a thread here somewhere explaining it for an Armada, which should work for the QX as well, if im not mistaken

Grounding the e-brake is only a partial solution since the warning buzzer stays on when moving.

For anyone reading this, you can't simply cut the wires and ground them if you have Navigation. You need to have these two wires on a DPDT switch so that you can flip back to a "stock" position so the navigation can function properly.
