Best color combination ever on that S2000. That car is gorgeous.

Thought I'd provide a fun update, wish I could have taken a short video but yeah...

Me and two friends were driving and this s2000, not sure which year, probably a slightly newer one (ironically white) pulls up to us at a light and then it turns green, we both slowly roll to 20 and he hears my exhaust and punches it, so do I. I could hear his intake and it looked like he might have had some custom exhaust work done. We were even at first then I started to pull by half a car length until we hit about 60 and I broke really hard due to the area we were in and being afraid of cops.

Well, he kept on hauling down the road. I tried to catch up to the next light to maybe try again from a dig but he had already turned. :(

Keep in mind I had +250-300 pounds with me (Backseat and front passenger) and those things are already 400 pounds lighter than us so yeah, lol.

I did not read all the post on this page, but I don't understand, why people assume FWD will lose to RWD. Before I had my car switched to 6mt when it was a CVT, I raced a Mustang v8 (this is RWD) to 0-60 and beat it. All the RWD did was spin trying to grip for traction. Meanwhile, my FWD just took off because the engine weighs the wheels down, so there is no spin for traction. Now, yes I agree RWD is better for racing around turns, but I fail to see how it's better off the line. In fact, every vid I've ever seen of a RWD taking off, they all have one thing in common, the wheels spin for a few looking for traction.

This is true on the crappy stock OEM tires, I wouldn't lock up til about half way through second. Goes to show why I only got 22k on the stock tires before they were completely bald to the wire. Yet with my new rubber I have got the launch down to a science, Now I just need to find a good day to hit the track and see what I run. :yesnod
