Unfortunetly not. I was reading over the techs shoulder as he ran the test. He explained in lamens terms that it wasn't sending the accelerate data to where it needs to go. So the car doesn't know to speed up when the gas pedal is pressed.Urq wrote:Thanks for keeping us updated!Did you get a list of the codes it pucked up?
I guess the same "computer control unit" governs the iKey? At least it sounds like they're making progress - hopefully this is the answer. Keep us posted.ehandlr wrote:Update #2
So Nissan called my wife today. They drove the car around and recreated the problem yet again. They believe that some "computer control unit" is bad and needs replaced but it will take a couple of days to get ordered in. Not only that, but we need to have both of our keys sent back to be reprogrammed since we have that package to where we only need the keys on our person to start the car.
Only bad news is when he said "We hope this fixes the problem."
Yes. We have had these modules replaced on TWO Versas that came off the truck brand new and wouldn't start or run.Rockhound wrote:

as in you had to crank for a while, stop trying, then crank again before it started?ehandlr wrote:Alright all...seems the car is finally fixed. It was the computer control unit. It took them over a week or so to get it all repaired. I still had one issue with starting the car one time with 2 extended turns of the key.
Now...to get my 100 dollars back :P Thanks for all the help everyone.
