I hear you. Yeah, I have air guns and air ratchets. Getting them off should be no problem.... I hope. The anti-seize is designed to keep the bolts and nuts from freezing up....if I'm not mistaken.I just need to buy some car ramps is all. I have hydraulic floor jacks, but they are better suitable for raising trucks. They are still needed for the brake jobs either way. Though the ramps will get the car off the ground to get under it with the floor jack easier.I wonder if someone makes drive on ramps that lift up using compressed air? That would be cool. I'll see what I find on that.ATSELLAB wrote:I installed mine in 30 degree weather ! Excitement nums the coldness.
On the compound use anti-seize. When my exhaust was originally installed it felt like they used lock-tite. You will need an air gun to remove all the bolts. NO way will u be able to hand loosen the bolts.
Actually on this install, I decided to try and not use any antiseize. They included lug nuts that tend to dig into the metal when tightened and prevent vibration from backing them out. So far so good. Ive driven the vehicle hard and nothing close to being loose. I wanted to test it out because one bolt and nut was on there so tight and it was hard to get off that the impact gun stripped the nut and I had to grind the bastard off. Which was a pain in the ***. We'll see how it goes.
I just may take you up on that if I plan to go to Houston anytime soon.M4T5 wrote:I live in Spring, TX....lol. You can come over if you like.

Wow, that is very reasonable! Then again, they are just unbolting it and bolting on the new one. An easy quick job for a skilled modder.Either way, I guess you really cannot complain on that price.Bob24 wrote:I called my local shop that works on hig end imports and they are installing it for $50. No complaints here!
Welcome to the club!imsello wrote:just ordered mine today paid 642 shipped to my door and I cant wait to get it.
Oh wow, that's pretty reasonable. The problem is, how do you get a hold of Element 114 if they never answer ..... I mean if their phone doesn't even work? That would be the only way to get any answers. Or "YOU" can buy it and do a before and after dyno test on it!ATSELLAB wrote: When I received mine they were all bubble wrapped individually and foam padded as well. Hopefully it comes in without problems.
Hey J, Also found the element 114 intake, selling for about $100!!!! Killer deal. But I wanna make sure it improves performance or its pointless.
Only one for that price or the person has more? Give it upATSELLAB wrote: When I received mine they were all bubble wrapped individually and foam padded as well. Hopefully it comes in without problems.
