That chrome was the first thing that my eyes were drawn too, totally messes with the cars lines.MinisterofDOOM wrote:I like the color.
I'd say $16k is a heck of a deal for a dealer-serviced 330hp coupe with only 26k miles AND an extended warranty.
First mod when you buy it: paint that STUPID non-body-color windshield surround!
ROFL! Awesome.
This is a great engine. My friend sold his Benz with the same motor in it. It hauled *** in that piggish machine too.Jesda wrote:Supercharged AMG 3.2 V6
It would be acceptable on the convertable because it would appear as trim, on this car it visualy seperates the to halves of the car........still for around 17k its a steal, just paint the silver part and rip off the gigantic chrysler emblem.MinisterofDOOM wrote:It's actually not chrome. It's painted silver. Why it's painted a DIFFERENT color than the rest of the car I have no idea. It almost makes sense on the convertible version. But...the hardtop isn't the convertible.

I think it's priced about right so it won't burn you if you plan to flip it after a couple months. They were rather overpriced when new, so it's not surprising that you can find one that cheap now. The one I test drove had some nice oomph in a straight line, but didn't overly impress me in the corners. I felt it was more of a cruiser than sports car. But that might be what you want. You already know it's based on an old Mercedes platform but the ride is more jarring than the mercedes because of the 19" wheels. I thought the interior was more cramped than it should be and kinda cheap. It's certainly a vehicle that'll draw looks, butprobably not from real sports car folks.Jookmasta wrote:well here's my opinion. the car in itself is a very unique vehicle as the odds of coming across another one on the road are probably nil. hell i don't even think i've seen an actual SRT-6 with my own eyes. there were VERY few produced and they are known to run low 13's with a competent driver. as far as looks, it IS the most hideous 2 door vehicle to come from chrysler in the last ten years. what the designers were thinking i have no idea. looks like a BMW z3 with down's.
as far as the price, it's definitely priced properly. with it being auto, that is probably half the reason that it is at that price. mileage is pretty low for the year car it is and it seems to have been in good hands. the million dollar question will be what else are looking at? the srt-6 is a pretty unique find but i think the jesda could do with either a bigger car or another brand.
