2003 pathfinder child safety locks

Looking for information on child safety lock- have a 03 pathfinder- and apparently having bought it used- the rear passenger door was damaged breaking the safety lock on the inside of the door. This is not for the window, but the door (it is a small lever on the inside of the door)- which can't be locked using the power locks, but can be manually. Need a part number and/or information from those who might have fixed such a problem.

I believe the child lock is integrated into the lock assembly itself, is it not? Does the regular lock work manually & via power actuator?

Yes I think it is integrated, but the regular lock works only manually- this being the problem, I can lock all doors using the power except that one. Because the child lock switch on the door does not catch it seems like it is a broken spring that should be attached to the assembly.

You may want to remove the rear door panel (see a how-to here) and ensure all of the lock rods are attached correctly.

Knew unfortunately that was going to happen- are there any links to diagrams of the door? Wanted to know what should be connected to what before digging too deep. I will post any findings once it is done. thanks for the help so far.

Have you tried unlocking from the driver's door? I vaguely recall that the child safety lock doesn't disable that one.
