Well, glad you figured that out. I never think to question firing order on these engines since they have the separate coils - may have asked that question if you had a 3.3.

I was going to suggest sniffing the end of your dipstick to see if you smelled gas - Atraudes was probably correct about getting gas down in the engine with those bad injectors.

Otherwise, sounds like you are done!

Much appreciated for all the help. Makes sense why #1 was popping in that timing on #3 was close enough in the firing order to still catch a bit of fuel in that cylinder.

I'll drop the oil and enjoy the truck. I know it well now. Thanks again.

Congrats on finding the problem, even if it wasn't as complicated as you thought. If the other people on here are like me, they enjoy solving problems, even if they are someone else's. And thank you SO MUCH for sending me the coins, I just put them in yesterday and the car is back to full power! Yes!

I must commend lowther for the update. A lot of guys fail to update us on solutions to issues they report here. This is good for reference purposes.
