Hi all i just recently installed a (Pioneer DEH-X3500UI) Deck in my pathfinder i just now relized that it only has 2v preouts so heres what i did in detail

1. Installed (Pioneer DEH-X3500UI)
2 Installed (Metra 70-7551)

Speakers and and bose amp is all stock. I am only getting the left and right ((FRONT)) speakers to play sound No Rears!!!

So what is wrong i hooked everything up according to specs.

If i can could i just bypass the bose amp in the front doors and just use the existing oem speaker wires attached to two new 6.5 Pioneer speakers and leave the rears either plugged in or unplugged?

i just wanted to use the Left + and Left - off oem wires and Right+ Right -

Is this possible please help me i hate the fact that i did all this and i have the headunit cranked and still can barely hear it.

Im going crazy

You should be bypassing the Bose wiring, either by running your own speaker wire (preferable) or hacking up the stock wiring to bypass the amplifier connections. If you would prefer to do the modification to the stock wiring, let me know and I will provide instructions.

See this thread for a pictorial guide on door panel removal.

Yea i don't know really what i should do lol. I just bought (2) 6.5 pioneer speakers for the front and i was just gonna use a multimeter to find the speaker lines and use those as the existing but i am wondering and starting to think that those lines must attach to the amp first huh? Either way i would love for you to give me the instructions to get rid of this pain in my side

I just turned the sound up to like 60 yesturday and still can barely hear it.

This post tells you which wires to connect to bypass the amps. I verified it for your model year.

Yep, crimp or solder them together. For the front speakers, you'll be doing this at the amplifiers' wiring harnesses. For the rear speakers, there is a single Bose amp in the driver's side quarter panel cargo area trim. You'll have to carefully pry this away to access it - take care to avoid breaking trim clips. Leave the head unit alone, unless you've already got a line output converter in which case you'll want to remove it and just use the head unit's connections.

Look at the wire colors, all are provided in the other post. Connect the two wires separated by the ampersand (&).

Ah, I thought the Metra 70-7551 were wiring harness adapters. Remove those and connect the speaker wires from the vehicle's and head unit's wires together instead.

How are your door speakers connected currently? I don't quite recall how I connected mine, sorry. I can pull my door panel and take a look if need be.

So in your instructions i cut two wires solder or crimp together

Glad you got the fronts working at least. I really despise the Bose setup. It's hard to completely tear out and bypass all the wiring nonsense. That's why I highly recommend to run new speaker wiring to each door instead of trying to hack up the wiring. The stock wiring is thin anyway and any speaker wire you use will be thicker and better for the speakers.

I have Pioneer speakers in all four doors as well and their bass is alright, but you really can't expect a whole lot from door speakers. I looked into getting an Infinity BassLink subwoofer (it has a built in amp for easy installation) but I feel that I don't really need it, and I don't have the money anyway.

man but if I just get a line out converter. I think I can just keep the back speakers stock without damaging my head unit
