On the 20's - started with 245/45/20 all the way around. Slight rubbing sound in the mornings only (not later when it was warm) - not enough to bother with. didn't like the thinness of the rears...so traded those for 255/45-20.
Got tired of all the speed bumps and road depressions causing a rubbing noise - so decided to do 255/40-20 on all corners. A nice compromise in size - and .3% difference than the stock 19's. Still getting a slight rubbing on the fronts only - again - only in the mornings and not after it warms up outside or i've been driving for a bit.
Also - there is no sign of rubbing anywhere in the wheel well - when i had my BBk installed - i was also putting on the 255's.
Now i'm looking at Vossen CV3's - but i need to figure out what the heck is rubbing and where?
Some of you are runnning 20's with 275's up front... which is really wide - with no issue.
I'm wondering if it has something to do with the Hotchkis sway bar I had installed. Maybe it's loose or something. Seems like there is plenty of wheel well left - and i went from 245/45 to 255/40 taking of almost an inch???
Any thoughts?
