That would be pretty sweet.

I guess 2k isn't that horrible of a price to pay for the swap, my wheels cost more than that (even though my car didn't), its just paying for labor that kills me, the cheapest any shops around here would do it was for 1k, still shopping around though. You could go buy the sr setup on ebay for cheaper about a couple hundred dollars less, but God knows what your getting with that, I'd rather pay a little bit more for that peace of mind. It would be hot to live in Japan and have the engines and cars for that cheap, but almost everything else in Japan costs an arm and a leg, I think gas is like 3-4 bucks a gallon, and the price of housing is astronomical according to my high school Japanese teacher. We've got it pretty good over here.

I think were all somewhat intelligent and know how much is too much and what is cheap and $2200 is a very good price. I paid $1800 plus $$$ for the swap the first time in jan 2000, but I was also stranded in cali on vacation. Assuming it comes with an uncut harness and accesories. especially when you order crates from Japan they dont just come in every week. and besides import shops try to order in bulk as to not have to order all of the time. It is expensive. Its an import business.:) Im doing my second det swap my self. much cheaper. and its fukkin easy.
