did the jz just slip in there or did you have to custom fit it and stuff like that?
we used ruckus mounts and it went in smoothly less loosening the crossmember a little. but yea i gotta say i'm impressed.

yo man thats a sick build you got there..

im actually working on the same build but doubt mine will turn out as nice hahaha. im usin the 1jz in a 89 s13 240.

i was so impressed with the work you have done on your car that i have to ask haha.... if i brought my car there would you guys be down to swap the engine for me. you obviously know what you are doing. any parts that i did not have when i got there i would buy through you guys money is not really a problem im just tryin to do it up right. if your shop would do it what kind of price would you be charging?

im gettin the full swap block trans manifolds and all that. i still need the clutch assembly and all that bullsh!t ha. what kind of axles would you recomend im still a little hazy on what to get..

besides that sexy *** car.. let me know if we can work somethin out. hit me up on here or you can email me at [email protected]

well there's a TON of coverage from the clubloose weekend killer a couple weeks ago. i only made the saturday runnings and ended up tearing a rad hose so i'm looking forward to the clubloose east coast bash on may 30 & 31.

there's a bunch of great videos from the entire weekend on the blog: Video | powerzamcam | bloglife

i also have a fire system to install and you'll notice i cut the exhaust tip (not for the haters but i don't want to damage the turbo/manifold if i rub the wall =p)

Hope the OP reads this

How the handling on the car with the heavier 1j in it vs. when the SR20 was in there? I am thinking about 1j but keep coming back to SR because i am scared of the weight issue of the 1j. I already plan on going from 7Kg spring to 9Kg springs in front if I do 1j, (leave in the 7's if I go SR). Just woried about the steering response with the heavier motor.

Thanks and AwesomE build!

thanks for kind words! weight isn't really the biggest issue since if you have the right power and suspension setup it'll more than make up for it, especially if you balance it out. as for me? i'm stock everything just with a 1j and it's really worked out.

but in the end, nothing is better than a diff and seat time.

what a year! i accomplished the single goal i had one year ago which was to drive to and from the track for nearly every event spending minimal cash (no trailer or hotel). thanks to clubloose opening the etown track every month and george's amazing work on the car, that was possible and this turned into the best drifting season ever! we also met some awesome people that i look forward to seeing next year, even had the pleasure of crashing with one, check out the left rear quarter =D. i patched the rear bumper up with some left over front bumper parts haha. funny thing is the last event i broke a stud and destroyed the rest of the front, also the stock twins are pretty much done so maybe that'll be all for the off-season, check the blog for winter rebuilds. well thanks to everyone for a great year! here are some pics from 2009...full gallery on flickr:

most pics are from ankur, unless watermarked...

two of my favorite shots and a few stills in larger size =)

til next year!!

2010's been a boring car year, but exciting life year...my girl and i bought a place in march so i told myself driving would be OFF this season...yea, that didn't happen. besides switching back to popups, east coast bash was super fun, and should tide me over until the fall, even though wrecked moves is tomorrow...booo

well...if anyone has an aftermarket front bumper, used or whatever, hit me up and i'll be glad to purchase it from you.

thanks!
