since i've been out of the game for some time now, what better way to come back than with a new cage, some gold, and what some will call a superior motor! i'll always love sr20s =)

more on our flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/powerzamcam

thanks to ankur champaneri for the pics!

06.30.08the cage is what george calls his final masterpiece.

paint.

1jz-gte & r154 transmission from a jza70 supra. single turbo to come.

shifter extension.

almost there!

07.06.08painted the cage.

got a new hood. a super duper jdm vented carbon hood!

started the wiring.

08.09.08intercooler and some other engine mods.

08.31.08added the hood, exhaust, and some other prettiness.

anyone wanna trade for a green one??

we also fired her up for the first time!! sounds amazing, just have to clean up the wiring and we'll test drive her soon. stay tuned for some videos!! oh, but before that we installed a big td06 on george's vert =D

cleaned.

fabricated.

installed.

some brains.

first event!

sweet build.

i was gonna visit you guys to do my 5 spd swap last year because i've heard nothing but good but it was a little too far from NYC. maybe if i ever decide to do an engine swap or something i'll keep it in mind.

good luck with the finishing touch!

hey feedcool...the rear halfshafts are stock s13 with a 2way ats deftforce diff (now they are carbonetic) with a custom one-piece driveshaft that i got with the ruckus-racing mounts.

thanks!

well, after countless sunrise-welcoming nights and tons of help from everyone, she's finally back on the street looking gangster, not ghetto (with stock 15s and no sideskirts on an aggressive kit =p) and sounds even better. this is one of those moments i could say i'm high on life (or maybe it's driving around all day without exhaust gaskets). so now she's back at the shop ready for an oil change, some side mirrors, and a high flow cat. the first event will hopefully be club loose followed by drift nirvana on sept 28th.

Great stuff!

I have a bunch of questions for the OP1) Why 1JZ and not 2JZ? - (I would guess you saved a bunch of $$$ buy buying a 1JZ motor set that came with the 5 speed)

2) Can you talk more about the shifter extention???- Where did you get it?- How was it made?- How much?

3) You guys did all that in house?- Where are you guys (Powerzamcam) located? (Google Maps: 776 Jernee Mill Rd, Sayreville, NJ 08872)

More pictures and updates PLEASE!!!

like the 1jz. i hate the way the rb/any nissan motor sits cockeyed. im ocd about symmetry and its really bothering me. my next rb build im going to make some kind of adapter or re weld the transmission so the engine sits right. yep it bothers me that mutch.
