How many other people hoped this sentence was followed by "And I decided I couldn't part with the car" :(

Anyhow, I'm glad you got what you wanted for it - we hate to see you go.

I'm shocked he spent all that time tracking down the problem, only to get it running great, then sell it :gotme

You know Heath, I do have regrets. It was a blast to drive and it felt GREAT to drive it again.

The very first post in this topic explains how disappointed I was when I received the car from another NICO Moderator. I loved the performance of the car, but could never love the car (I LOVED our old 1992). It was simply in too poor condition when I got it (not disclosed by the seller) and we couldn't afford to rehab it any more than I did.

The most important thing, though, was that I had agreed to sell it to this fellow before I changed the coil, so it was still running rough and I was not 100% certain the coil would fix it (spooked from all previous failed attempts). He offered me too much money for it in the rough running condition, but I think not enough for it in the smooth, perfect running condition after the coil change. Still, I could not live with myself if I did not honor my word and sell it to him for his offer that I had accepted.

Heath, you have not lost me yet. There may well be an FX45 in our future. Also, I wanted to confirm the resolution of the rough running for a few others who followed the thread with similar problems with their cars.

Brew Q, hopefully the above remarks to Heath clear that up.

Cheers to all,
Glenn
