I'm confused. Isn't that a dark grey and black interior he has there? (I'm going by the pic)3rd Q wrote:It will look great with the IPQ and tan interior.

Drew,You are correct, sir. Didn't notice Shamoo interior in his sig. One of my previous Qs was IPQ w/tan and that is a pretty common combo.DrewQ45 wrote:

Jesda, I wish I'd been there to see that. That's a record man!Jesda wrote:It took me about 15-20 minutes.
Yeah, but first you have to remove that little white plastic thingy sitting on top of the ignition which has a small metal arm sticking up. I think it contains a solenoid. You can't clear that without bending the plastic so much as to break it and you'll still cut up the cluster's dash surround's vinyl on the arm. That's unless you drop the steering column in which case, I'm still not sure you can clear it easily. Jesda, I honestly can't see this being done in 30 mins much less 20 mins. You have to basically pull up everything for that damn clock and I've done it a few times.Jesda wrote:All you have to do is remove the plastics on the steering wheel and slide the dash over it. Its not like the dashboard is made out of stained glass. That thing is like tupperware.
What do you mean that it's a motorized setting mechanism? How do you adjust it?3rd Q wrote:
Just remember it is a motorized setting mechanism. If you try to turn the post like the manual '90-92 version it will break. It will look great with the IPQ and tan interior.

A slight turn of the knob adjusts the time, it's not like winding a watch or anything.lino wrote:... What do you mean that it's a motorized setting mechanism? How do you adjust it?
They came OEM From 93-96 - so the others were probably swapped by a previous owner. I would probably go with the one with the lowest mileage or car that shows the least water damage to that area.lino wrote:. The cars they had were from 1991 and up and all have the gold clock.
